@hippopedoid@ritagonmar@JanLause did you happen to control for word usage rising across popular contexts too (e.g., NYT)? I wonder if it’s possible to remove genuine growth of certain terms from analysis and show its specific presence w/in academia, for an even sharper picture (tho it may not be worth the lift)
@TheAnnaGat@mashagessen Same reaction. Felt like the slapstick style was pretty clumsily mismatched to the topic. Showing that he understood its horrors would let Waititi get away with some elements like of the sort, but nowhere did he show any real empathy.
@PeterHotez Hi Peter, I'm working on a visual, interactive story about the anti-vaxx movement. Any chance we can speak briefly in the coming days? If so, what's the best way to get in touch?
@gorskon Hi David, I'm working on an interactive, visual story on vaccines and anti-vaxx beliefs (https://t.co/bYQW6BAyab). Have been a big fan of your anti-vaxx coverage. Any chance we can chat briefly? Looking for a bit of guidance on the story's structure.
Anyone down w/ lucene syntax? Trying to figure out why an API call using "X Y" returns fewer results than "X+Y".
Is this because I'm getting all Y results and whatever has X in it in the 2nd case, and results w/ both X and Y in the 1st?
