In a nutshell, it’s a foundational platform for ME (I’m speaking personally here) to live my life accordingly. As trite as it sounds, I find great comfort in the book. I can’t speak for others and you obviously don’t have the same reaction to it. OK

I’ve yet to meet a Christian who follows or even agrees with everything laid out in the Bible. Inspired by God but written by fallible humans after all so interpretations tend to vary wildly.
