This is what the APC is afraid of, the growing anti-APC awareness across the North. That is why they are beginning to restrict social media platforms, starting with TikTok.
My dear Francis, thank you for taking the time to truly understand what I am proposing. That means a great deal to me.
I am not restoring subsidy so that Nigeria can keep paying for imported petrol. I am restoring subsidy so that Nigerians can produce more at home, pay less for fuel, and keep more money in their pockets.
That is the difference between import subsidy and production subsidy.
Think about shoes. If government wants Nigerians to buy shoes more cheaply, it can spend public money making imported shoes cheaper, or it can support shoemakers in Aba to reduce their production costs so they can make more shoes here, employ more Nigerians and sell at more affordable prices.
I choose the Aba shoemaker.
I will do the same with fuel. We will support crude refined in Nigeria so our refineries can produce at a lower cost and you can pay less.
But for me, this is bigger than fuel.
I want the bus fare you pay every morning to come down. I want the cost of taking food from the farm to the market to come down. I want the trader to spend less. I want the barber, tailor, welder and small business owner to spend less on energy.
I want a mother to return from the market with more food in her bag.
I want a father to pay transport and still have something left in his pocket.
I want a small business owner to close for the day with profit, not just enough money to buy fuel for tomorrow.
That is what affordability means to me.
Less money spent on fuel.
Less money spent on transport.
Less pressure on food prices.
More money left for your family.
My promise is personal: I want you to feel relief in your pocket, in your home and in your daily life.
I will make life affordable again.
I will make Nigeria affordable again.
It is a promise. -AA
Nigeria may not be facing a constitutional vacuum today, but there is a disturbing vacuum of political leadership.
I have travelled, lived and spent time abroad, and I have never pretended otherwise. But there is a fundamental difference between the travels of a private citizen and the responsibility of the sitting President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Consider what Bola Tinubu is leaving behind. Petrol priced beyond the reach of ordinary people. Families rationing food. Transport fares that have turned a journey to oneโs own village into a luxury. Insecurity that buries Nigerians week after week. And in the middle of all this, President Tinubu has packed his bags for three weeks in Europe.
The Vice President is abroad on official duty. That makes the Presidentโs decision even more difficult to understand. Leadership is not merely the constitutional right to occupy an office; it is the judgment to know when your country needs you at home.
A father may travel when all is well. But when his roof is burning and his family is trapped inside, he does not pick up his suitcase and head for the airport.
That is the issue here. It is not that a President must never rest or travel. It is that Nigeria is burning, and the President has chosen a boarding pass over the fire extinguisher.
Millions of Nigerians are being grounded by hardship while their President is airborne. The people can barely afford to move, but the President keeps moving.
A government that cannot feel the pain it inflicts will never summon the will to end it.
Tinubu made Nigeria expensive. I will make Nigeria affordable again. -AA

โฆ600M FOR IZALA UNIVERSITY: WHY THE NOISE?
โฆ600 million was donated to support the construction of Fortune University by Izala NHQTRS Jos.
The donation was made on Sunday, Aug 23, 2026 by Aminu Masari & the Governor of Yobe State, after Sheikh Jingir reminded them of the importance of the project.
But suddenly some people are crying online like national money was shared ๐
Let's be honest:
1. Building a university costs way more than โฆ600M. This is just support.
2. Governments and politicians support religious schools, hospitals, and universities all the time in Nigeria. Why is Izala's own suddenly a "problem"?
3. The money is for cement, labs, libraries, classrooms, jobs, and students from across Nigeria. Not someone's pocket.
Sheikh Jingir doesn't need โฆ600M to be respected. His work speaks for itself.
If you have questions about how the money will be used, ask with evidence.
But noise, envy, and insults won't stop this project.
If โฆ600M is already shaking you, get ready because more support is coming to complete this university.
We should leave behind schools and knowledge, not just social media noise.
Here is the total donation
1. sokoto - 450m
2. Yobe - 300m
3. S A - 300M
4. KEBBI - 200M
5. GOMBE - 50M
Ku mutu da haushin Sheikh Jingir
