Great, then they're "winning."
But have you looked at Ukraine's demographics lately? Even if territory changes hands, who will be left to rebuild the country after years of deaths, emigration, and displacement?
It's tragic to watch an utterly and clearly documented corrupt regime continue a war of attrition while an entire generation is being lost or driven abroad. In my view, too many people in the West cheer this on from a distance, driven by Russophobia and the interests of the military-industrial complex, while ordinary Ukrainians pay the price.
But if a few kilometers on a map matter more than the human cost, then by all means, keep cheering.
I have to go to Brussels now and then to go to the Russian consulate for a new visa. I can assure you when driving through the city, in most places it's dirty, almost no natives anymore and yes, urine, drug addicts and people just hanging around upto no good. It's always such a relief for me and my family when we travel around in Moscow. Clean, safe and just beautiful. And not only Moscow. I've traveled extensively in the country over the years.
Unfortunately, it must be acknowledged that today the Ukrainian state, under the leadership of Volodymyr Zelenskyy, is no longer guided by logic or the genuine interests of its people. The state apparatus continues its suicidal public relations campaigns and a reckless policy of confrontation, rooted in a strategically flawed vision of the future. Tactical boldness has replaced wisdom, logic, diplomacy, and โ most importantly โ the fundamental interests of ordinary citizens. This approach will inevitably lead to an ever-growing number of conflicts and, sadly, to Ukraineโs growing isolation on the international stage. As a Ukrainian woman, this pains me deeply. The Ukrainian state is demonstrating open contempt for its own history and its own people.

Me watching a documentary about psychopaths and how they "prefer to stay at home, don't have many friends and can get very upset over a minor inconvenience"
You canโt trust a single word Zelenskyy says anymore. The next President of Ukraine will not come to power on slogans of endless war and radical militarization โ the very path Ukraine is on today.
This is the video for you to remember who Zelenskyy was in 2019: a man who promised that if he couldnโt end the war, he would step aside and make way for someone else. A man who vowed not to steal from the army, unlike his predecessor. Yet today, he fiercely opposes elections, while his inner circle โ just like those of his predecessor โ continues to channel billions into their own war-related businesses.
We have all lost. Populism has won.
Trump at the G7 Summit in Canada calls out Obama and Trudeau for kicking Russia out of the organization in 2014.
All Putin wants is for Russia to be respected and given a seat at the table in what he calls a โmulti-polar worldโ. Instead, the West isolated Russia and turned Ukraine into a NATO proxy to fight Russia.
One could argue a soft/cold WW3 started in 2014. That was the moment the CIA/State Dept overthrew and took control of Ukraine, and the West completely isolated Russia.
Everything we are witnessing now stems from the catastrophic foreign policy decisions during the Obama regime.
