@Rover2115@John_Zall@NABC1927@NEPrepBB My example isn’t an exception. It happens on a regular basis. You just don’t know because it’s not happening in the sports that only get talked about. My example is no different than yours of pro athletes playing professionally then coming over.
@ncgyles@DropAPinShow I grew up in WV and it’s true. Why do you think there’s no industry there? There’s literally nowhere flat to build anything substantial
@smokingmusket Pretty good parallels. Both led their respective teams to national runner up finishes. Individual vs team sports are hard comparisons. Jerry couldn’t win an individual title like Ceili just did but there’s definitely similar tough mentality between the two.
@usatf@Prevagen Maybe tell everyone that it’s not https://t.co/to6vbgRQTh that was part of runnerspace plus. That its separate and now pay per view. Talk about how to make your sport less accessible because you can’t financially manage your organization
@InsideTheBig12 You’re unlikely to see tuition waivers come back but the school could only charge the athletic department in state tuition rates. It would cut down on the expense
Hi @wvssac just making sure you are, in fact, not having live results for the 1994, oh sorry, 2024 state track meet. Forgot what year it was for a second not seeing live results for a state championship
Reminder, there are NO classes in Kentucky high school basketball.
Who just win the title you may ask? A small 1A school from rural Western Kentucky with all homegrown kids. The school doesn’t even have a football team.
The beauty of KY High School Hoops.
@Bedlam_X@JamesMagers4@BNKonFOX@BruceFeldmanCFB FYI that’s actually from an older Playing Rules handbook, not the NCAA Manual. These are separate rule books. You’re showing who is subject to decisions by officials during a game.
@JamesMagers4@Bedlam_X@BNKonFOX@BruceFeldmanCFB All that has to happen is: NCAA looks at whatever action. Gathers evidence. References their rules and looks to see whether it is or isn’t a violation. We’re still early on yet everyone has decided (based on their biases) what it is or isn’t.
@JamesMagers4@Bedlam_X@BNKonFOX@BruceFeldmanCFB Lastly, if you can’t answer the specific question asked you’re likely not in a good winning position for an argument. Outside noise here is what’s caused the drama.
@TomH3@nataliegwinters You're not missing anything. A professor at UNC was awarded this grant - look at the PI name. Qi worked on the project. So what she says is intentionally misleading to cause outrage
@usatf You know if you’re going to force us to stream this you could at least invest in an app so we don’t have to mirror this to a tv to watch like any other sporting event
@thestreeter@greg_price11 I have absolutely no idea but knowing ncaa rules and such as I do I’m going to guess they didn’t have the number of positions available like now so it’s likely?
