Saudi Arabia’s humanitarian work deserves recognition. 🇸🇦

According to the official Saudi Aid Platform, the Kingdom has provided $145.79 BILLION in assistance worldwide. Yemen alone accounts for $29.03 BILLION in recorded Saudi assistance across humanitarian, developmental, charitable and refugee-related contributions and services.

And the work goes far beyond financial figures.

Through the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (@KSRelief ), Saudi Arabia delivers food assistance, medical care, clean water, sanitation, shelter, education, nutrition and protection for vulnerable communities across the world.

As of the end of August 2026, KSrelief had implemented 4,457 projects in 113 countries, valued at $8.57 BILLION.

Yemen has been the largest beneficiary of KSrelief’s work, with 1,228 projects valued at more than $4.79 BILLION. More than $1.5 billion went towards food and agricultural security, while over $1 billion supported healthcare. Millions of dollars have also funded water and sanitation, shelter, protection and other essential services.

Saudi-supported humanitarian efforts also tackle the deadly legacy of landmines and unexploded ordnance through the MASAM project, helping make communities safer for civilians.

This is what sustained humanitarian engagement looks like: delivering essentials, supporting health services, protecting vulnerable people and helping communities recover from conflict.

The Yemeni people deserve peace, dignity and a future beyond war. Saudi Arabia’s humanitarian contribution to that future should not be ignored or reduced to political talking points.

Facts matter. And these figures are publicly documented.
