🔹सरकारी प्रयोजनों में हिंदी के प्रयोग की प्रगति की समीक्षा एवं पुनरीक्षण के उद्देश्य से संसदीय राजभाषा समिति ने दिनांक 10.09.2025 को सीएमपीडीआई, क्षेत्रीय संस्थान-VII, भुवनेश्वर का निरीक्षण किया।
निरीक्षण के दौरान समिति ने संस्थान में राजभाषा हिंदी के प्रयोग और कार्यान्वयन को संतोषजनक पाया तथा इसे “अच्छा” स्थान प्रदान किया।

🔹इस अवसर पर समिति ने श्री शंकर नागचरी, निदेशक (प्रौद्योगिकी/सीआरडी), एवं क्षेत्रीय निदेशक श्री एस. के. भर को राजभाषा हिंदी के उत्कृष्ट कार्यान्वयन हेतु प्रमाणपत्र प्रदान किए।

Knowledge-Sharing Workshop for Coal Mine Assistant Managers

👉 The Directorate General of Mines Safety (DGMS), Bhubaneswar region, organised a workshop for Assistant Managers working in coal mines, featuring experts from CMPDI, RI-VII, Bhubaneswar. CMPDI officers participated in this workshop as resource persons, sharing their expertise through insightful talks on scientific studies related to blasting and slope stability.

👉 The program was graced by the presence of several esteemed officials, including Shyam Sundar Prasad, Deputy Director General, DGMS; S.K. Jha, Director (Technical/P&P), MCL (via video conference); Krishnendu Mondal, Director of Mine Safety; T. Hari Prasad, Deputy Director of Mine Safety; J.K. Borah, Director (Technical/Operations), MCL; S.K. Bhar, Regional Director, RI-VII; C.P. Garg, General Manager (S&R), MCL; and other dignitaries.
The participants expressed their appreciation for the valuable and informative knowledge-sharing session.

CMPDIL Signed a MoA with Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) for Implementation of Solar Power Projects

👉CMPDIL has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with WCL on 2nd April, 2025 at WCL Headquarters, Nagpur to implement Solar Power Projects, including Ground Mounted, Roof Top, and Floating installations. Under this agreement, CMPDIL will serve as the Project Management Consultant (PMC), overseeing all project phases from initiation to post-award management.

👉 The MoA was signed by Shri Sudarshan Prasad, GM (E&M)/HoD, CMPDIL and Smt. Shweta Soni Sharma, GM (E&M) / HoD (RE) WCL in the presence of Shri Anil Kumar Singh, Director (Technical/ Operations) and Shri Anandji Prasad, Director (Technical/ P&P) and other Sr.officials from CMPDI and WCL.

👉 This collaboration aims to accelerate WCL’s solar power initiatives, furthering the organization's commitment to achieving Net Zero Targets and advancing Carbon Neutrality.

CMPDI observed World Tuberculosis Day

CMPDI observed World Tuberculosis Day 2025 with the theme. “Yes! We Can End TB: Commit, Invest, Deliver” at its Hqs, Ranchi on 24.03.2025. On this occasion, CMPDI organised Tuberculosis Awareness Campaign, wherein voluntary counselling on Tuberculosis was provided to 200 nos. of persons and screening for TB was done on 40 nos. of TB suspected people.

Dr. Om Prakash, Chief Medical Officer and Nodal Officer (Tuberculosis), CMPDI (HQ), and his team sensitized people about the TB, its effects, treatment methods, and the importance of early diagnosis. etc. Contract Workers, Sanitation employees and people from surroundings areas attended the awareness camp, helping to spread awareness about the disease and its prevention.

This campaign highlights CMPDI’s commitment to community health and efforts to combat tuberculosis through education, prevention, and screening

GM (Exploration), visited drill sites at Gopalpur Camp and Behramal Block

Shri Rajiva Kumar Singh, GM (Exploration) along with RI-VII Bhubaneswar officials visited the drill sites at Gopalpur Camp and Behramal Block (Ib Valley CF) on 19.03.2025. The GM discussed the strategic plan for achieving the 2024-25 drilling targets. He also inspected the outsourced APC drill site at Behramal Block, where he assessed performance and motivated the team.

CMPDI conducted a scientific study on deep hole controlled blasting

CMPDI, RI-VII, Bhubaneswar conducted a scientific study on deep hole controlled blasting at Bhubaneswari OCP, MCL, on 19.03.2025. They used the latest, 'site mixed emulsion' (SME) technology along with electronic detonation systems to improve safety standards and prevent any possible damage caused by excessive vibrations due to blasting in the mine. This study is important for setting up the blasting-related pattern to ensure safety and minimize future risks associated with blasting.

Independent External Monitors (IEMs) review CMPDI.

👉Shri Gopal Krishna, IAS(Retd.) and Shri Bipin Bihari Mallick, IAS (Retd.), the two Independent External Monitors (IEMs) of CMPDI held the 3rd Quarterly Review Meeting of FY 2024-25 with CMPDI on 05-02-2025 at CMPDI (Hq.), Ranchi to review the status of implementation of Integrity Pact in the Tenders floated by CMPDI for the procurement of Goods, Services and Works.

👉Shri Ajay Kumar, Director(Technical/P&D/RD&T); Shri Pankaj Kumar, C.V.O., CMPDI/CIL, concerned GMs/HoDs and Regional Directors of CMPDI attended the meeting.

👉The IEMs expressed their satisfaction over the transparency being maintained at CMPDI in its Tender Process, the high level of coverage of Tenders with Integrity Pact (95.17% by value) and nil complaint/ grievance / referral against the tenders during the period under Review.

👉Integrity Pact is applicable in all CMPDI Tenders where the estimated Contract value is Rs. 1.00 Cr. and above for Goods and Services and Rs. 2.00 Cr. and above for Works.

👉Integrity Pact is applicable in all Global Tenders issued, irrespective of the estimated Contract value.

सीएमपीडीआई, क्षेत्रीय संस्थान -VII, भुवनेश्वर में आयोजित वार्षिक खेल उत्सव कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ क्षेत्रीय निदेशक के द्वारा किया गया। इस कार्यक्रम के अंतर्गत क्रिकेट, 100 मी और 50 मी दौड़, रस्सा कस्सी, लंबी कूद, डिस्कस थ्रो, शॉट पुट और अन्य खेलों का आयोजन किया गया । जिसमें सभी अधिकारी और कर्मचारीयों के साथ साथ उनके परिवारगण ने हिस्सा लिया। सभी विजेताओं को पुरस्कृत कर इस खेल उत्सव का समापन किया गया।

👉CMPDI, under Multiyear CSR (2022-25) project Sponsoring 20 nos. of youths to pursue govt. recognized 2 years diploma course in Opthalmic Assistant at Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Para Medical Institute, Chauparan, Hazaribag.

👉Till date, a total of 18 nos. candidates were placed in various hospitals/ organisations which includes 09 members placed in Lenskart.
