There’s an old Irish term for someone who likes to stay home by the warmth and comfort of the fireplace (what we might today call a couch potato)... cailleach na luatha. I like to translate it (with some poetic licence) as “divine hag of the ashes”

Has anyone read any books by Yukio Mishima?

Today I finished reading The Sailor who Fell from Grace with the Sea and I am *intrigued*.

I'm currently torn between acquiring Confessions of a Mask or The Temple of the Golden Pavilion.

But any recommendations are VERY welcome!
