As if 100% men work in accident-prone jobs and not a good number of them are stuck at home playing video games feeding on mommy and daddy's money. Women still suffer from childbirth (maybe not as much as before) but most men definitely do not die for work now.
@jacaeryz Into Red Keep without any security, Alicent just handing Red Keep on silver platter, whatever is going on with Mysaria. Just rotten and bad. The writing is terrible.
@jacaeryz As a TG, the whole Alysmond relationship is built upon rape, predatory behavior, lack of consent and manipulation of one's physical vulnerability, yet it is not talked enough. Not to mention constant humiliation of Alicent, nonsensical developments like Rhaenyra just walking +
With all due respect, I would be friends with Aemond Targaryen because he is cool, has a large dragon and is generally competent. But I will never be WITH him because I really dislike having to mother a man and treat him like a baby. 🤡
Can we have more queer-coded characters like Gwayne? Because I am starting to feel tired of the sloppy crappy straight ships HOTD keeps thrusting us.
Yes, I am talking about Alysmond, Baela/Alyn/Adam. Very exhausting.
@woketransboy@MVPCorralSzn Not a slave, a slave is not required to make his/her own money. This kind of woman does not exist in real life because what he describes conflicts with each other. It exists in fantasy and where he will remain forever.
Like he is the only person who understands Alicent's struggle. Aegon needs Alicent when he is in trouble, Heleana does not care, Daeron barely knows her. But Aemond understands Alicent like an equal, he gives and does not ask for anything back.
@srhknsll Ooo interesting. My headcanon is while Aegon is crazy hypersexually active and a bi, he and Helaena are not just introverted, maybe autistic but also asexual/demisexual. That is why they relate to each other cuz they are closest in age and have many similarities
I sometimes relate to his imposter syndrome?
Like he has has Vhagar for some time, consistently performed well in swords and academics and climbed the political ladder non-stop. He works 24/7 (let's be honest when do we see him eat or rest) for his goals +
@hellothere61737 Although I always bash S3 Aemond, I actually liked him until ep5. I was okay with him kissing his mother, his ep2 Harrenhal take, even first meet with Alys, and ep5 scenes. I thought it was going okay 😭😭
Until ep6 where his arc became baby making and Alys's arc.
I relate so much because when you have been performing academically well, super focuser on your career and thought you have everything planned. One slip up or set back will make you devalue everything you have done.
But when he loses for once e.g. getting hurt and losing sight of Vhagar, he immediately disqualifies himself from anything and considers himself useless ("nothing") despite all those skills and achievements he had (look at the stuff Aegon says about him, none related to Vhagar)
Interesting. I like the perspectives of the comments talking about being aromantic and bisexual. Cuz it is weird while you are physically attracted to both men and women but cannot seem to fall in love. More frustrating if you want a relationship before sex.
I’m bisexual but hetero-romantic. Meaning I am sexually attracted to both men and women but I’m only interested in being in a relationship with a man. Like girl we could bump coochies but I’m not cuddling and watching movies with you 😅😅😅
I honestly wish they could do more stuff like this. Was so expecting the massacre at Harrenhall and Riverlands.
But at least we got this one 😭😭😭 can I say I ship him with Simon Strong a little bruh
Rhaenyra is not suited for the sword, but hell she is incompetent in other aspects as well (just look at Cersi, Margery and Danny). Overall she is just a snooze feast to watch
This is why watching GOT made me feel happier, because women in that show ACTUALLY use swords competently and are recognized for their competence (Arya, Brienne) not just for show. That show, despite being released before HOTD, had more empowered female characters than this one.
