A dog hiding a puppy in a kennel in the ruins of a house destroyed by a Russian shell was rescued by volunteers.

In Kharkiv region, Assol the dog and Hugo the puppy miraculously survived the enemy shelling, although a Russian shell hit their house. After the shelling, the neighbors who fed the dogs turned to volunteers for help.

After being rescued, Assol was so scared that she could not walk and almost crawled on the ground. But when she realized that people wanted to help her, she immediately changed her behavior. She is helping Hugo to recover.

Now Assol and Hugo are under the care of volunteers. When the dogs recover, a new family will be found for them.
