As a designer at tech companies, I encountered a frustrating disconnect:
When executives say "UX", they often mean the "experience of using the visual interface."
NOT the "end-to-end user experience."
Telling a designer they don't need to think about the context of the problem they've been given, but simply implement the PMs solution, is a little like telling a sports person that they don't need to warm up because you've done it for them.
Jomo... Joy of missing out: pleasure gained from enjoying one’s current activities without worrying that other people are leading more fulfilled lives.
Very British exaggerations:
-The wind nearly blew me away
-The queue was a mile long
-I've told you a million times
-I stepped in a puddle about a foot deep
-I’ve been on hold for hours
-The bread was rock hard
-I’ve got about 10,000 emails this morning
-It was fun
