An era ends. 123 Tests, 9,230 runs, 30 centuries—but numbers can't capture the fire, the grit, the pride you brought to the whites.
You made us believe, fight, and dream.

Explanation of the event for those wondering:
That video shows a Shia Muslim practice called matam (chest-beating), which happens during Muharram, the first month of the Islamic calendar.
It commemorates the Battle of Karbala (680 CE), where Imam Hussein (as), the grandson of Prophet Muhammad (saw), along with his family and companions, attained martyrdom. They were surrounded, denied water, and martyred while standing up against an unjust ruler.
The chest-beating is a way of expressing grief and mourning for this tragedy. By striking their chests rhythmically, often while reciting elegies, people share in the sorrow of what happened to Imam Hussein (as) and his followers. It’s an emotional, communal expression of love, loss, and solidarity with his sacrifice.
The peak of this mourning is the 10th day of Muharram, called Ashura, which marks the day Imam Hussein (as) attained martyrdom.
So in short: it’s not violence or anger, it’s a form of religious mourning, a way to keep the memory and meaning of Karbala alive.

A Poem from 20 Years Ago
Coupled with Farsi text and English translation
Haj Esmail Mansouri has recently published a poem attributed to Allamah Hasan-Zadeh Amoli from 20 years ago, which predicts the details of the martyrdom of Imam Khamenei at the hands of the Zionist regime.
The poem also emphasises that, with this martyrdom, we draw closer to the reappearance of Hazrat Hujjat (aj):
Flight delayed, fare inflated.
Amid #IndiGo disruption, airfares on key Indian routes have surged up to 10.4x.
Here’s a snapshot of how expensive it’s really gotten to fly right now.

Anyone with basic brains can figure out what Indigo did was very intentional. This was not sudden disruption, this was almost a planned strike to strongarm the government into giving it what it wants. What people went through doesn't matter to them, it's just collateral damage. And the fact that govt let this happen is on them. The fact that we essentially have monopolistic/duopolistic situations in so many major sectors is on this Government. But what to do, let's look for ways to blame RaGa on this too.
