The BEST generation of men to ever exist for women are modern men.
Our grandfathers waited OUTSIDE the delivery room. We are INSIDE the room, holding your hand, rubbing your back, watching you scream at us, supporting you.
Our grandfathers married VIRGINS. We are marrying PROSTITUTES, OnlyFans whores with 50, 100 body counts and we still call them wives ans provided for them.
Our grandfathers married women who could COOK, CLEAN, slim and RAISE CHILDREN. We are marrying fat useless women who can't even boil rice or season chicken.
Our grandfathers married 18, 20, 22 year olds for youth and fertility. We are marrying 35, 40 year old GRANDMOTHERS and then spending $30,000 on IVF because their eggs are dead.
WE BROKE THE RULES FOR YOU.
WE BENT THE RULES FOR YOU.
WE DESTROYED EVERY TRADITION FOR YOU.
And it's still not enough.
Our fathers did 10% of what we do and got submissive, loyal, grateful wives.
We do 200% and get the most ENTITLED, SELFISH, LAZY, MENTALLY UNSTABLE, UNGRATEFUL, MASCULINE, DISRESPECTFUL wives in human history.
Our fathers were RIGHT. They knew exactly why you can't give modern women too much comfort and freedom.
Y'all don't deserve good men.
They truly wish they had someone like him in their sect.
Secondly, I doubt any of their Imams pray in the national mosque behind him. Remember, one of the curses they are currently carrying around is the love of leadership and the desire to lead others.
Thirdly, their issue is with him and the post he is holding. Remember the issue of the Mutawatir Hadith, where most of their Imams attacked his person instead of focusing on the issue at hand.
Fourthly, see how he coordinates the people listening to him. He ensures decorum and always tries to bring them back on course or change the topic whenever they try to derail the discussion or bring in assumptions to attack others. Now, listen to how they preach, how they attack him, and how their followers cheer them on.
The difference is clear.
The problem we are having among Muslims in Nigeria, the disunity, is greatly caused by the Izala sect and their followers.
No apologies.
We are basically working on our jobs while working on our education with working on our career while working on ourselves while working out while working on friendships & relationships while working on personal goals while trying to accommodate everyone while also trying to get 8hrs of sleep.

One of the reasons the earliest attempts at Islamic banking in Nigeria, such as the dedicated Islamic banking windows in the old Bank PHB or Habib Nigeria Bank, faced so much scrutiny was because people kept asking this exact question you've just asked. They couldn’t understand how a financial institution could survive without the crutch of interest.
As time went by, scholars and financial experts needed to find a way out of this recurring problem. They had to prove that Islamic banks could cover their significant operating costs, infrastructure, and personnel without taking or giving a single naira of Riba (interest).
To do this, they developed authentic, asset-backed, money-making mechanisms that are foundational to Islamic banking today.
Please note that these are not just "interest with a different name," they are different entirely from the conventional interest-based banking.
Here is exactly why they are completely different from conventional banking:
1. Murabahah (Cost-Plus Financing): In a conventional bank, if you want a car, they give you a cash loan with interest, and you pay back cash for cash with an added percentage. That is Riba.
In an Islamic bank using Murabahah, the bank actually buys the car from the dealer themselves, owns it, and then sells that physical car to you at a disclosed profit margin, allowing you to pay in installments. The profit comes from a real trade transaction, not from renting out money.
2. Mudarabah and Musharakah (Partnership Models): Instead of just pooling deposits from savers and giving them a fixed, guaranteed interest rate, an Islamic bank acts as a partner.
In Mudarabah, the bank manages your funds in halal ventures, and the profit is shared based on a pre-agreed ratio, while the customer bears the financial risk.
In Musharakah, both parties pool capital for a business, sharing both the profits and the losses. The bank puts skin in the game. They earn by working and taking risk, not by exploiting a debtor.
3. Ijarah (Leasing): Instead of lending money to buy equipment, the bank buys the equipment and leases it to the customer for an agreed rental fee. The bank retains ownership and bears the risk of the asset, making the rental income entirely halal.
Having said this, now, let us talk about the reality of navigating a conventional financial ecosystem.
Because Islamic banks have to operate under the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), they are sometimes forced by regulatory compliance to participate in clearing systems or transactions that inadvertently generate Non-Permissible Income (NPI), such as penalty fees or unavoidable interest-bearing statutory reserves.
Islamic banks do not use this money to cover their infrastructure or staff salaries. Instead, they have a strict purification process. This NPI is completely segregated and channeled directly to charitable causes, such as funding public health clinics, building schools, or helping the poor. The bank derives zero corporate benefit from it.
One thing Islam prioritizes is striving toward the best, and not absolute perfection. We live in a highly imperfect, conventional financial world. These institutions are doing their best to be upon the truth, creating a halal alternative for millions of Muslims, and leaving the remaining gaps for the Almighty to pardon.
But to throw your hands up, capitulate completely, and allow Shaitan to trick you into thinking Riba is unavoidable just because banking has costs? What will then be the difference between us and them?
Allah knows best.
In Nigeria, generational wealth mostly starts from one single politician from a very humble, poverty-ridden background who eventually “makes it in life” through unfettered access to government’s coffers by navigating various political offices, from small to big, spanning decades.
This is a Prof Maqary Appreciation tweet!
This Ramadan, sitting on that chair and speaking the truth even when it may cost you your position or life deserves the highest commendation.
What makes Prof even more admirable is that he embodies in practice everything he advocates in public. I have met many clerics who act differently from what they preach, but Prof is truly different. His love for the unity of the Ummah is genuinely remarkable.
Today in Yola, I took a decisive step for Adamawa’s future.
After wide consultation, we are aligning with the @OfficialAPCNg to return our state to the centre of national politics and leverage the Renewed Hope Agenda of @officialABAT for real gains.
The mandate of 2019 and 2023 remains sacred. Platforms may shift; our covenant with the people stands.
And we have moved, with our full political structure.
Adamawa is back at the table.
Let’s assume Mr. Ade owns a fast growing rice company called Premier League Top 4 Ltd. He wants to expand nationwide, but he needs ₦45 billion to do that. Right now, sapa is holding him by the neck, so he does not have the money.
Mr. Ade has two options:
1. He can borrow from serious investors, not loan sharks please😂
2. He can sell part of his company to raise capital.
But the problem is that he does not know who has that kind of money. He does not know how to structure the deal properly or even how to determine what his company is truly worth. He can't just wake up and say my company is worth ₦10 billion based on vibes and confidence.
So he goes to an investment bank. Let’s say the bank is called 5 Matches Win Equal Haircut Bank, and the banker handling the deal is Mr Carrick.
Mr Carrick now rolls up his sleeves🧗. He studies the company properly and goes through the financial statements line by line. He calculates what the business is truly worth, not what Mr Ade feels it is worth. Then he starts looking for big men, pension funds and serious investors that can actually bring ₦45 billion to the table. After that, he structures the deal in a way that makes sense, negotiates the terms so Mr Ade does not get cheated, and works with lawyers and regulators to make sure everything is clean and compliant. No cutting corners. No stories that touch. He's not Falz.
Now, why are investment bankers paid so much? coz the work no be beans. The transactions are massive. We are talking billions. One small mistake in calculation can scatter everything. The pressure is intense. Deadlines are tight. Sleep is optional. When the deal finally closes, they might earn hundreds of millions in fees just for arranging it. Out of that, they pay the bankers well.
Islamic society also has a responsibility. Those who preach what is not Islam need to be dealt with by the Muslim community because if we allow people who preach what is never in the books, then it means we continue to have this kind of situation (Banditry).

A lawyer can be briefed on any subject across any profession, of strange terms he has never come across, yet, in a short time and after a thorough over-the-night research, he starts advising on same as though an expert in that field.
Only lawyers are so trained, if you ever wonder why we are referred as LEARNED!
BREAKING: Governor Bala Mohammed blasts President Tinubu over the tax reform laws and the arraignment of his commissioner of finance by the EFCC over an alleged $9.7 million terrorism financing charge
Bala said: I woke up to an accusation that I'm being accused of terrorism. My commissioner of finance is being held by the EFCC, and my name is being mentioned in the suit even though I have immunity.
They have not done 1km of road in Bauchi State. They've not provided water. Even the security agencies, I'm the one paying them to work for us, and they have the guts to talk.
I have kept quiet for too long. I'm not a coward. The federal government should look at its tax system. In spite of all the impurities, they are still going ahead with it to improvish the common man and the sub nationals (states), and we are keeping quiet.
The APC-led federal government think they can use the court and the EFCC to persecute and prosecute Nigerians that are not in their party. If they don't stop, we are going to declare war. I won't allow anyone to criminalise me because I'm not in the APC, and I refuse to join the APC. I will not join the APC.
On Monday, I was sent a video clip from Channels TV’s coverage of the opening session of the 2025 All Nigerian Judges Conference. What I saw was nothing short of an assault on our national dignity: “On Your Mandate,” President Tinubu’s personal political anthem, was brazenly played in place of the National Anthem at the end of the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun’s speech.
My first instinct was to dismiss it as a deepfake. But once it was confirmed to be authentic—an actual reflection of what transpired on the very day President Tinubu lectured the judiciary on integrity and the rule of law, I waited for an explanation from the Presidency or the office of the CJN. Silence. Total, deafening silence.
This incident is not isolated. The Tinubu-led APC government has consistently pursued a systematic capture of state institutions, crushing opposition voices, and steering Nigeria toward a de facto one-party state.
Ironically, on the same day, President Tinubu stood before Nigerian judges and sermonized about safeguarding integrity and upholding the sanctity of their profession. He stressed that “confidence is the lifeblood of justice,” and that public perception must be fiercely protected to sustain our democracy.
Yet, while preaching morality, his administration allowed (or engineered) the playing of his own partisan campaign music before the entire Nigerian judiciary—a shocking desecration of protocol, ethics, and national pride.
Let it be said clearly and without hesitation: Replacing the National Anthem with Tinubu’s “On Your Mandate” in a hall full of judges is reckless, scandalous, disgraceful, and deeply irresponsible.
It is the most blatant signal yet that this government is attempting to drag the judiciary into the partisan gutters of the APC, if not coerce a wholesale “defection” of Nigerian judges into political alignment.
How can confidence be built when the executive arm openly inserts partisan propaganda into a solemn judicial gathering? How can judges dispense justice fearlessly when Tinubu’s operatives are busy eroding the boundaries between state, party, and personal ambition?
Let the records be clear: Nigerian judges swore an oath to defend the Constitution, justice, and the rule of law, not to stand “on the mandate” of Bola Ahmed Tinubu or any other individual. This affront must be condemned by all who still believe in constitutional democracy. -AA
I, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, Governor of Adamawa State, wish to categorically state that I dissociate myself from the position of expelling the Honourable Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, @GovWike , from @OfficialPDPNig (PDP). I believe that this decision is not in the best interest of the party, and I will not be party to any attempt that could further plunge the PDP into unending crisis.
As a faithful party member, my position is clear: I stand for the peace and stability of the PDP, and I will not support anything that could lead to its disintegration. I believe that peace and reconciliation are the only ways forward for our great party.
I urge all stakeholders to work towards healing the divisions within the party and to strive for unity and cohesion. As a party man, I am committed to supporting efforts that promote peace, stability, and progress within the PDP.
Let me reiterate that my position is guided by the desire for peace and reconciliation, and I will continue to work towards achieving this goal.
