I just remembered how excited I was to stop using pencils and start writing with a pen in Primary 3. Funny how the smallest things felt like major milestones back then.
If only I knew 😭
So while they were busy pressing the neck of drone owners that year, a full sized plane can actually enter Nigeria’s airspace without regulatory clearance and then get cleared to land at an airport… the busiest international airport in Nigeria as well. Hmmm?!
@CryptoDefiLord The rapid inflation and depreciation of Naira makes it hard for some people to even understand or comprehend the actual value of money.. that’s why people can believe something this ridiculous
@BellaBaddie__ Water mostly and occasionally freshly squeezed juice/smoothie. It is a tough change at the start especially if you're the type that would typically grab a soda with your meals
@hypetribeng If you how much their old songs are still big bangers in other African countries, you’ll understand this tune is not for the Nigerian market… and that’s good for them.
Keeping his dream alive is wholesome. I recall this hair salon in Lekki 1. They had this very gorgeous photo of the owner on the wall, never met the owner but I always admired her photo and this beautiful salon she has set up.
One day a hairdresser at the salon told me it would be their last week in the building. Apparently, the owner passed away months ago and the family wasn’t interested in keeping the salon business. That was so shocking and heartbreaking to hear cos the space was soo gorgeous and you could tell the owner had put her heart and soul into setting that salon up. All gone just like that.
Another business is currently in that space now and I think of it anytime I pass that place.
You really have to follow your dreams, cos not everyone can share in or understand the passion you have for an idea.
