I've had my Twitter account for 16 years. I've never quite got the hang of it. Just screaming into the void... Kinda like my life, lol π π πππ
@Stopworkplacebu When your new manager is giving you a tour of the facility on your first day and they tell you that they haven't yelled at an employee yet π³
@wiseconnector Yep! Me. I stopped wearing makeup outside of my house all the time, about 6 months ago. I have broken blood vessels from rosacea on my cheeks and have been VERY self conscious about it. I'll wear it on special occasions or something like that.
I try and give back when I can and pay it forward. So many people helped me over the years when I was really struggling. I don't expect anything except for a thank you and to pay it forward. But if you can't even say thank you, I won't help you again.
One of my clients moms, called my boss about some paperwork that she's very frustrated with. She (the mom) has a reputation of being difficult to work with.
Well... she told my boss she's extremely happy with me π
Just one, of the many reasons why I love my job β€οΈ
@Theholisticpsyc This sounds like my, grandmother, mom and myself π
I passed it down to my adult children and all i can do is own up to my side of the street and do better going forward.
Please read. I don't mean "read this post"-- I mean, in general, read. Books, poems, fanfic, whatever.
Reading will support your trauma & addiction recovery in ways you can't even imagine.
@ThePOTSPostman I can give you a referral but they'll just send you back to me (primary care Dr) ended up finding I had a severely pinched spinal cord in my neck and very low iron (chronic headaches and fatigue)
I'm at home because of the weather. One of my clients called me to let me know they got to work safely and then called me on their way home to let me know what they did today β€οΈ #DownSyndrome#ValentinesDay
@selfhealerscirc This is something I've struggled with, especially with romantic relationships and my family. I'm working on boundaries and I definitely have growing pains as I start to make them.
