Cliffs of Moher! Honestly there’s no better place to come home to for Christmas and New Year. It’s major screentime reduction and a complete engagement with nature over here! #Ireland#Clare#WestOfIreland
@wolfofharcourt For me it’s $WTC
powers 23 of top 25 global logistics firms. Mission-critical software, huge switching costs, near-zero churn. Global trade OS in the making.
Stocks been hammered, unfair victim of Saaspocalypse IMO.
Tesla should have cleaned up the truck market! They would have. They’d have produced a truck that could have outdone anything Rivian or BYD could produce.
It just leaves a bitter taste in the mouth… especially when you know how much more dominant a position TSLA could be!
As a #TSLA investor, I love everything they’re doing and trying to do.
But as I walk down the street in Melbourne… and see 4 BYD pick up trucks at the construction site, I just can’t help but wish the Cybertruck swing and a miss didn’t happen!
@emmetlsavage I will also say that the ASX is brilliant for ETF investing. It’s really strongly encouraged (often as part as Superannuation) - but the options are extensive. My largest holding is Fang+, love the 10 stock equal weighting.
This needs to be a thing for young Irish investors!
@emmetlsavage Well it was perfect timing considering the opportunities that exist right now!
I have been adding to WiseTech, opened a position in Pro Medicus… but these two stocks you mentioned will certainly be on the study list! But very curious what stock Mike kept a lid on though 😂
@emmetlsavage I liked this pitch by Mike in the pod … would be a good counter balance stock to Tesla in my portfolio.
My 3 for 10 years: WiseTech, Pro Medicus, and Bitcoin.
It’s a bit make or break, but it’s hard to see any of these not existing in 10 years either 😬!
@emmetlsavage Shows how crazy the valuations once were! I often return to Atlassian, but still haven’t pulled the trigger. It’s down so so much though 😬
@emmetlsavage Really enjoy these videos and hearing the thought process behind a pick. Especially because ye have such different approaches 😂
Stocks down >30% is where I’d usually start my search too, so enjoyed that. The (good) problem is, there are so many of them!!
@emmetlsavage two stocks I would love to hear your thoughts on. TEAM I’ve owned for a long while and MTN’s been in my watchlist for 7+ years since the Rubicoin days. Vastly different industries and they’ve obviously underperformed but are still business I quite like! @MyWallStHQ
@metrotrains For passengers catching the first 4.48am Mernda line train from flagstaff, how do we get to parliament?
What time does the first replacement bus leave Parliament?
Can we get more information for the early trains passengers please! 🙏
@metrotrains Ah ok, because yesterday the first one didn’t depart flagstaff until 5.17am, which unfortunately is too late. Will check again tomorrow then, thanks.
@MyWallStHQ@emmetlsavage hoping to tap into your experience with a quick question about end of financial year “tax harvesting”. June 30th was EOFY here in Aus and so a few stocks I follow on the ASX that were already depressed took an extra hit the past couple of weeks.
Would it be fair to assume that retail investors and institutions alike would be locking in realized tax losses - and in doing so present opportunities for a business that had perhaps already been oversold? 🧐😊
