For the past 2.5 years, Pakistan has been under an increasingly authoritarian regime, where the values of democracy and justice are being systematically undermined.

@MohsinnaqviC42, from his time as CM Punjab to his current role as Interior Minister, has waged a relentless campaign of repression against @PTIofficial workers and leadership.

This crackdown is not just a political attack but a direct assault on the fundamental rights of citizens to freely express their views, engage in peaceful protest, and participate in the democratic process.

Under the current regime, Pakistan's government has failed to uphold the rule of law, deliver justice, or protect the basic rights and freedoms of its own people. The promises of a fair and just society have been shattered, leaving many without hope for a better future.

As a minority journalist in Pakistan, I too face the challenges of oppression, censorship, and constant hurdles in my work. Yet, I remain committed to speaking out on behalf of the people of Pakistan. Despite the risks, I will continue to amplify the voices of the voiceless and stand firm for the principles of justice, democracy, and human rights.

It is time for the people of Pakistan to unite and demand the freedom and justice they rightfully deserve.

I usually don’t comment on Pakistani politics. I disagree with IK on many political issues. But this is not about politics- it’s about my children’s father, his human rights & international law. For the past few years, I’ve been bullied & harassed into silence by PML-N goons, including rape threats & countless conspiracy theories. Meanwhile Twitter/ X is banned in Pakistan, PTI party members & civilian supporters have been abducted, anyone with a platform who was speaking out is now in jail & silenced, Imran Khan’s photo and name have been censored on state television (they have even redacted his image from any coverage of Pakistan’s World Cup win of 92!)
I owe it to my children to try to create some awareness about what is happening in Pakistan. Please help in any way that you can. Thank you.
