@Vxebo_ You didn't demand accountability, you attacked your African brothers, you attacked their means of livelihood, you chased your brothers and children from hospitals and schools. You betrayed humanity and destroyed the spirit of Ubuntu.
@sholard_mancity Do South Africans threat other Africans like their fellow Africans?
Africa is supporting Mexico so the Bafana Bafana can go back home and protect their jobs.
The only way to build trust is transperance. We should know who the guilty ones are at the end of the investigation and how they will be prosecuted.
At this point difficult to know how many other people in the commission that is willing to work with them or already working with them .
The worst thing that has happened to us as a country is not bad leadership, economic hardship, or even insecurity. It is the gradual death of our humanity and the frightening decline in the value we place on human life.
We have become numb to horrors that should shake a nation to its core. Children are kidnapped and held captive in forests for months. A teacher is beheaded. Families are left devastated and broken. Yet life goes on as if nothing happened. The outrage fades before it can even begin. These tragedies barely make headlines and rarely dominate our national conversation.
Politics continues uninterrupted. Primaries are held, victories are celebrated, and power games go on. Citizens line up to participate in the spectacle, while forgetting that the first and most sacred duty of any government is the protection of the lives and property of its people.
What is a nation if its people are no longer safe? What have we become when the loss of innocent lives no longer shocks us into action?
Perhaps the greatest tragedy is not that these terrible things are happening, but that we have learned to live with them.
And so, in a cruel twist of fate, our prayer is no longer for prosperity or progress. It is simply this:
"May Nigeria not happen to us."
@BashirAhmaad Is this why the present government can't do it's number one job which is protection of live and property of its citizens?
No outrage over a teacher who simply went to school and has now been killed by terrorists.
Sadly true and like he said we have a role model issue and it starts from the very top all the way down. If we cannot comfortably state primary and secondary school our president attended and it's okay and parents and relatives don't ask where there wards get money from or where they work thats why we erode a culture of honesty.
