@babytrillion_ I have Windsurf, Cursor and Claude Code CLI. Out of all these I find using Claude code through CLI gives more refined output and less hungry on token usage
@charmiekapoor@CleanShot Using @shottr_cc for almost 2 years. Its the closest free alternative for Cleanshot that I found. Also, this tool has good annotating features.
if i were starting my design journey today, i would –
🎨 expand my taste
• explore one non-design discipline deeply, like film, music, architecture, or sports
• read psychology and behavioral sciences to understand how people think
• break down the top 0.1% products and understand what makes them feel great
• rebuild those products from scratch to train my eye on details
🎛️ become fully ai native
• use cursor or vibe code to ship one end-to-end usable project every month
• learn core coding concepts and logic, even if ai writes most of it
• if in college, use .edu email to try every ai tool for free / cheaply
🗣️ strengthen my communication
• study great storytellers and pitches to spot patterns and practice them
• read quality content and write often to sharpen articulation
• showcase my work to friends or like-minded communities
🕸️ grow my surface area
• build a simple website and upload all my work in progress experiments
• cold dm teams and founders, take small freelance projects to learn from
• make it easy for people to reach me with clear links
• join one active builder community and meet people
🚀 Fun side project update: I built a finance news aggregator app!
Pulls headlines from multiple sources into one feed—makes staying on top of market news.
Thinking of adding custom feeds, real-time alerts, trending analysis & saved articles!
