@YBharat_2029 What about people who need to get their work done at the bank? From 10 AM to 3 PM, who can take a half-day just to visit the bank? I know most things are online, but some work still requires a branch visit. A staggered weekly-off system can balance both sides.

@ravish_journo Bro, don’t exaggerate this much. I have banker friends, and they’ve told me that bank employees already get quite a few holidays. Targets were introduced because, in the past, some employees used to take their jobs lightly. If you look at how SBI treated customers back then.

@News18India @SushantBSinha Sushant bhai, it’s good to have two days off, but some people will suffer because Saturday is the only day they can visit the bank. Rather than a 5-day week, banks can have a staggered weekly-off system, as people still need to visit their home branch sometimes to get work done.

@kapsology I agree with you since I am following on the calls for a small query and haven't got the answer yet so I had to visit the bank on the Saturday only. These guys can take weekly off and manage accordingly. If the staffs are low count them make one or two staff available.

@pkv03 @jitesh_pandey @RBI You can't compare because these are different and earlier you guys were working 6 days and got 2nd and fourth Saturday off. You guys are getting highest of holidays in a year. My landlord is branch manager and I even have to ask ki aaj bank jana hai kind of.

@jitesh_pandey @RBI I don’t know the situation you shared, but as a common man, many people can only visit banks on Saturdays. Bankers sometimes don’t resolve issues over calls, so Saturday should remain a working day, especially when banks already get so many holidays.
