Bring back gatekeeping. Not for the weird theater kids. D&D has always been the home of weird theater kids. We need to gatekeep the people that want to turn D&D into call of duty or something.
i love this genre of japanese films: "long summer days where nothing happens while everything is happening at the same time." every once in a while i discover one and it always ends up becoming a great memory
you don’t realize how much your environment affects your mental state until you finally spend time somewhere that feels calm and your body stops feeling tense for once
I think both are right, in order to start loving yourself, you need to realize and hate yourself for the person you've become.
Only then can redemption truly begin.
-refusing to ask for help
-downplaying your achievements
-isolating yourself instead of communicating
-saying "yes" to everything
-neglecting your own needs
-avoiding important responsibilities
-flooding your mind with negativity
-always chasing perfection
