BRIBERY EXPOSED IN LUCKNOW POWER DEPT

A major corruption allegation has surfaced from Lucknow, where a JE Vinay Kumar at Madhyanchal Vidyut Vitaran Nigam Limited allegedly demanded ₹5 lakh for an electricity connection.

Despite an official estimate of ₹3 lakh, the accused reportedly sought an extra ₹2 lakh as bribe.

A video has emerged as evidence, capturing conversations about “managing” officials and expediting the work.

The matter pertains to the Gahru (Sarojini Nagar) power substation, exposing deep-rooted corruption in the electricity department. Investigation expected.
