Corenswet stars as John Tuggle, the 1983 NFL draft’s final selection by the Giants, in the biographical sports drama ‘Mr. Irrelevant’, directed by Jonathan Levine and co-starring Michael Shannon as coach Bill Parcells.

The film, scheduled for theatrical release on December 25, 2026 by Paramount, tells Tuggle’s underdog story of making the roster before his tragic death from cancer at age 25, with this event continuing the press tour after the trailer’s September release.
