What makes the Middle East conflict between the Israelis and Palestinians even more shocking, painful, and devastating is when you find out the hidden truths behind it. There’s a high-stakes game being played right under our noses but almost none of us see it.
BREAKING: Israel to allow Hamas to do a “wee bit” of rape and murder after inspiring drum performance by the group ‘Absolute Fucking Retards For Palestine’.
“Free Palestine.”
I grew up on those words.
In Lebanon, most people around me wanted a free Palestine for a very practical reason — to send the Palestinian refugees back. The civil war that tore my country apart was ignited in no small part by the Palestinian armed factions who turned Lebanon into their launching pad. “Free Palestine” meant: free us from them.
In Damascus, where my father’s family lived, the sentiment was different but equally self-serving. Palestine must be returned to the Arabs, its righteous owners. No one asked follow-up questions. No one was expected to.
Palestine was central to Islam, most Arabs are Muslim, therefore supporting the Palestinian cause was reflexive. A non-brainer in the most literal sense — no brain engaged at all.
Nobody stopped to point out that Palestine is not an Arabic word. Nobody found it strange that Jerusalem, the supposedly third holiest city in Islam, is not mentioned once in the Quran. Not once. Nor is Palestine. The entire theological and political architecture of this cause rests on a foundation that their own scripture doesn’t bother to acknowledge.
What was actually happening was indoctrination. A systematic, generational rejection of Jewish sovereignty — and frankly, of any minority sovereignty. Jews, Christians, Druze, Kurds, Assyrians, Yazidis — the Arab world has been remarkably consistent in how it treats people who are different. We just don’t talk about that.
Instead, in the West, we talk about Palestine.
In the West, a civilization that has elevated human rights to its highest moral currency, the Palestinian cause has become the one exception to every rule. In the queue of human suffering, Palestinians cut the line every time. Homosexuals executed in Gaza and hanged from cranes in Iran? Palestine first. Women imprisoned in Saudi Arabia for campaigning for the right to drive — a right they were denied until 2018 — girls sold into marriage in Afghanistan, women erased from public life entirely under the Taliban? After Palestine. Political dissidents ground into dust in Syrian and Egyptian prisons, journalists disappeared in Libya, children starving in Yemen while their rulers wage proxy wars, entire populations hollowed out by hunger in Sudan? All of it waits. Christians ethnically cleansed from Iraq and Syria, the Arab world methodically emptied of every Jewish community it once held — a demographic erasure carried out across a century with surgical patience and near-total Western silence?
Palestine is still first.
So let’s end where we started. Free Palestine. Which Palestine, exactly? The Roman invention? The British administrative line? The British Mandate covered the entire territory of what is today Israel, the West Bank, Gaza and Jordan. In 1921, 78% of that mandate was handed to the Hashemite family — a dynasty imported from Hijaz in present-day Saudi Arabia — and became the Kingdom of Jordan, which it remains to this day. A foreign royal family, on the majority of historic Palestine, ruling it as a monarchy. Nobody protests that. No flags, no chants, no encampments. The remaining 22% was designated for the Jews, became Israel, and is the only part that any pro-Palestinian activist has ever had a problem with.
So when you say Free Palestine, you mean that 22%. You mean the Jews.
And free it from whom? From a people with a three-thousand-year-old documented presence in that land, to restore the glory of a name coined by Roman colonizers, a name lifted from the Torah, a name that has no roots in Arabic, no mention in the Quran, and no history as a sovereign state?
You are not chanting for liberation. You are chanting for colonialism — the Roman kind, repackaged for social media.
Free Palestine is not a cause. It is a colonial term, coined by invaders, recycled by the indoctrinated. The least you can do is have the intelligence to understand it and the decency to reflect on your position.
📍#Israel
100% there is no genocide in Gaza. No eradication project. People confused about what the word means is culturally appalling and dangerous for the future of western society. The confusion has indeed been engineered by people know what they are doing. No genocide does not mean simply too much death and destruction in war. It is about intent and action to destroy a national, ethnic, racial, or religious group, in whole or in part. Sam Harris @MakingSenseHQ is spot on.
Why is there suddenly such an aggressive push against American data centers and AI infrastructure? After seeing a major spike in coordinated opposition campaigns around our Utah projects, we conducted a digital audit and traced a large amount of the activity back to an organization called Alliance for a Better Utah, which has been pushing misinformation throughout Box Elder County about our data center developments. What’s even more concerning is where the funding appears to originate. After reviewing IRS Form 990 filings and tracing the network behind it, the money appears tied to Chinese linked funding channels connected through an organization called Arabella. Think about the incentive, if China is racing to dominate AI and compute capacity, why wouldn’t they want to slow American infrastructure down?
FOX NEWS INVESTIGATION: 425 organizations with a combined $1 billion in annual revenues coordinate 736 anti-Israel 'Nakba 78' protests across 39 countries today — a transnational network that includes communist groups, Marxist-funded nonprofits and coalitions linked to Chinese Communist Party sympathizers.
The campaign's own materials don't call for a ceasefire or two-state solution. They call for the dismantling of Israel itself, framing the U.S. as a 'fascist, imperialist, genocidal settler state' and erasing Israel's name entirely from their literature.
The U.S. leads all nations with 187 events planned.
But why is the op to turn people against Israel?
Two main reasons, aside from the weird ones.
1) To split Americans, especially Republicans (or MAGA or conservatives or "the Right");
2) The US-Israel alliance is the foundation of a peaceful future for the free world.
We've already talked some about (1) in the past. The idea is to use Israel as a wedge to divide Americans deeply. People who firmly oppose antisemitism will never respect or traffic with people who went into it again, and meanwhile, it's incredibly contentious.
It was a safe bet by the enemies of America that a huge portion of the American conservative base, especially Evangelical Protestants won't turn against Israel and will turn against anyone who turns against Israel. This is a useful bit of knowledge for (very Russian-feeling) divide-and-conquer political warfare operation.
[Our friend Insurrection Barbie (@DefiyantlyFree) did a splendid article on here a month ago outlining some of how this works in detail. You can be absolutely sure she hit a target by how they howled about it.]
I won't linger on the split America / MAGA / GOP / conservatives / "the Right" part of this story here. We need to talk about (2).
2) The US-Israel alliance is the foundation of a peaceful future for the free world in the 21st century.
As valuable as it is to break the "conservative side" and mentally poison Americans for a generation and maybe undermine Trump, the real agenda here is to undermine the foundation for the US-Israel alliance.
That alliance, you need to understand, is the foundation for a peaceful, prosperous world in the 21st century. It's chief opponent is the "Multipolar World" model advanced primarily by Aleksandr Dugin and his surrogates in the Western media, to which the Russian government, Iranian regime, CCP, and World Economic Forum (yeah, that Leftist globalist thing...) are all fully committed. It increasingly appears the Vatican (partner of the WEF as well, at least through side channels like the Council for Inclusive Capitalism) is on board with this program too.
Let's get real. Western Europe is failing and is on the precipice of disaster. The UK has joined them in this, as has much of the Commonwealth. Canada is openly making economic and SECURITY arrangements with the CCP. Australia is dipping from the former Western Alliance. South Korea got taken over by Leftists who want to give the country to China, and their former president is under persecution (as are Christians).
In other words, what we have thought of as "the Western Alliance" for the last 75 years is coming apart, and the competing model is the "Multipolar World," which is ultimately giving the East to China and the West to Islamism for the remainder of the century (with maybe an extra step or two). We need a new Allied Forces in the world against this new Axis.
Yes, btw, your favorite podcasters who are suddenly no longer making sense have joined the Axis Powers. That is how you should understand it.
The goal is to diminish the United States while the various Axis Powers rise: Russia, Islamist network (centered in Iran), and CCP. The Multipolar World model demands at least three (and here, four) roughly co-equal powers with different spheres of influence in the world, not a US-led hegemony of freedom, opportunity, security, and prosperity.
Russia gets the North. China gets the East. Islam gets the middle and Europe. America can dwindle and falter in the Western Hemisphere, pressured from both north and south and internally at ideological war.
For this to work, America has to be diminished on the world stage. The plan there is to isolate and foment internal discord while increasing external pressure. Classic Woke strategy. America will be isolated from its old allies, will not get new allies, and will be seeded internally with division and strife until it cracks. Meanwhile the whole external world will pressure it to break sooner.
In America, this agenda is actually called "America First," not as President Trump (probably unwisely) uses it but as the Panicans and Groypers have hijacked it. They are now clear that they mean America Only... and that they're working with Dugin. Dugin's model has always been to isolate America and split it apart from within, so we can see this model is not actually America Only but America Isolated (and eventually destroyed).
The thing is, American strength and resilience isn't the only impediment to this plan. The US-Israel alliance is a major impediment to this plan. If things go well, a free Iran will join that alliance. If things go better, so will India. If things go even better than that, so will an un-menaced Taiwan, along with Japan and maybe a righted South Korea (which is a tech supercorridor that cuts all the way across the Eastern Hemisphere, btw, and it's even sometimes called "Pax Silica" to replace Pax Americana).
Not only does it cut across the hemisphere, though; it also occupies, controls, and protects the key transport, travel, and shipping lanes through the geographical center of the world (connecting almost 6 billion people). China, Russia, and the Mullahs want to control that, but if the US-Israel alliance succeeds and grows, they're out to lunch.
Trump understands this. Netanyahu understands this. Moscow, Beijing, and Tehran also understand this. So do America's domestic enemies. You need to understand this, too.
What's being fought for is control of the world stage for the 21st century and likely part of, if not most of the 22nd. Right now. That's what's at stake while you see your favorite podcasters piss and moan about everything they can in order to get in the way of what's happening.
Either the world will fragment and allow the unchecked and uncheckable rise of Russia, CCP, and Iranian-style lunatic Islamism, or the US-Israel alliance will remain strong enough to defeat them and recruit other important giants into another century or two of a free, secure world in which lunatic dictators and ideological crackpots are sanctioned, disempowered, and on the run, if not destroyed.
The US-Israel alliance is a devastating blow to the Multipolar World ambition because it puts American strength and interests, not to mention freedom and security, squarely in the middle of the world. And Israel is unique in that its central motivation is its own security against existential enemies, who it will always fight and, short of Armageddon, always defeat. US and Israeli primary interests align, as do our secondary and often tertiary interests.
The alignment of interests there is key to the success of the alliance, although alignment of underlying values is as well. It's the same kind of alignment we used to have with Western Europe and the Commonwealth against Communism, but now that they've all but succumbed, we need a new plan. You can call it a new world order if you want, but the point is that we're already in a place of major change and have essentially two choices. Only one of them is good.
If you want a peaceful, secure, prosperous 21st and 22nd century, or any hope of them, you need to be backing the US-Israel alliance because it's the keystone of that hope.
If you want Western Europe and the Commonwealth to have any hope of being pulled back from the brink they're on, you need to be backing the US-Israel alliance because it's literally your only hope. You guys in those parts of the world are slated to join the Islamist and CCP wings of the spoils if this goes wrong. Enjoy your hijabs and social credit systems.
So I repeat something I said that went viral yesterday. If you have turned against the US-Israel relationship, or more specifically against Israel itself, recently, especially since October 7, 2023, you are a useful idiot for the cause to destroy everything you hold dear. You have been the victim of a massive psychological operation to advance the interests of your enemies, and that's why you now agree with LEFTISTS on just about everything. It's not us; it's you. They buck-broke you, boys, and now you're a retard. (You will not be able to contact an attorney for this, and you are not entitled to compensation, but if you get your shit together soon enough, you can at least undo some of the damage and recover your future and soul before it's too late.)
You should be supporting this alliance. You should be supporting a freed Iran to join this alliance. You should be supporting the destruction of the Multipolar World operation and vision. You should be supporting those who oppose Dugin and his surrogates. And so on, and so forth.
The choice is yours. In Liberty.

🧵THREAD: Iranian influence in US far-left protests
A Jewish rapper got beaten bloody at a Khamenei vigil in Washington Square Park. What happened next exposed something much bigger: a documented pipeline connecting Iran's sanctioned state TV directly to far-left protest organizers on American soil.
The receipts are extraordinary.
As always, patience as I pull the thread together. 👇
Hamas just announced it will hand out 9.6 million shekels (over $3 million) to the widows of 19,306 martyrs from the war. That’s an official admission that at least 19,306 Hamas operatives were killed.
But that’s only the married ones. Plenty of fighters are single, so the real combatant death toll is even higher (experts estimate ~30,000+ including Islamic Jihad).
Yet Hamas’s Ministry of Health still claims 72,037 total Palestinian deaths — a number the entire world media and UN keep quoting as gospel.
What they “forget” to subtract: Their own people they murdered (collaborators and opponents of Hamas); Gazans killed by their own misfired rockets (10-12% of launches); and natural deaths (over 6,500 per year from old age/illness).
When you do the basic math, even if we accept Hamas's dubious death total, Hamas accidentally revealed that the combatant-to-civilian fatality ratio collapses to somewhere between 1:1 and 1:2. In other words: One of the lowest ratios in modern urban warfare history. Hamas literally exposed its own lie — but the world is still running with the inflated propaganda.
LIQUIDATION CONTAGION
Wealth taxes are even worse than you think. Any asset held by Californian billionaires or Dutch citizens is now at risk of experiencing forced liquidation pressure.
So: it’s not just that you don’t want to hold assets as a Dutchman. You also don’t want a Dutchman to hold your assets. Because the logic of forced liquidation is contagion.
Let’s think it through.
(1) First, suppose there is an asset with a total market cap of $10,000, with 10 shares total, of which 1 share each is held by 10 different holders, all in the Netherlands. To simplify the math, assume the Dutch holders bought those shares at par, or close to $0.
(2) Now suppose today is the unrealized cap gains tax day, and the share price is $1,000 per share. Each Dutch guy is hit with a 36% tax, and owes $360. The first guy sells his one share, gets $1,000, and pays $360 in tax while retaining $640.
(3) But the first guy’s sale reduces the market price to $960 per share. So when the second guy sells, he only retains $600 after paying $360 in tax.
(4) Now assume that by the 7th guy, all the selling has pushed the share price to collapse to $200 per share. This is a very reasonable scenario if 60% of the cap table has suddenly been dumped. Indeed it might go much lower.
(5) At $200 per share, the 7th guy actually has to go into debt to pay the tax as he owes $360. He sells his one share, pays all $200 of the proceeds in tax. And still owes $160 more in tax.
(6) The 8th, 9th, and 10th guys are even more screwed. By the time they sell, the price will likely have crashed to $100 per share or less. As with the 7th guy, even 100% liquidation will not cover their tax burden.
(7) So we immediately see many negative things about the Dutch unrealized cap gains tax bill.
(a) First, it will cause large simultaneous forced liquidations. Everyone must sell 36% of their stake near the same time.
(b) Second, it may be literally impossible to pay if a critical mass of the cap table is all subject to it at the same time. In the example above it was 100% Dutch holders, but has it been just 60% the result would have been much the same: a collapse in the share price.
(c) Third, that means it would be disastrous to have too many Dutch citizens (or Californian billionaires!) on the cap table. Their forced sales will crash your share price.
(d) So, you might have to start mass blocking those resident in wealth-taxing jurisdictions from investing in your companies.
(e) This in turn makes the poor Western European guy even poorer, as he gets locked out of high growth assets.
To be clear: I really do feel bad for the formerly Flying Dutchmen, now Crying Dutchmen. They invented much of modern capitalism. They founded New Amsterdam, now New York. They’ve punched way above their weight. I wish them only the best.
Nevertheless…they should prepare for the worst. This may be a tough century for Western Europe. The first ones out might get to freedom, while the slowest may be stuck behind a new Iron Curtain, spending a century paying off the debts their states incurred over the last century.
Because the long run fruits of Western Keynesianism are the same as Soviet Communism, in the sense of wealth seizure and pauperization.
I mean, if you knew the future, you wouldn’t want to co-own a farm with a Russian in 1916. For similar reasons, you might not want to co-own a share of stock with Dutch national in 2026. Or with anyone in a seizure-curious jurisdiction…which unfortunately includes much of Western Europe, Canada, and Blue America.
You instead want assets that are not held by those subject to forced liquidations. Now, I grant that this is an unusual way to rank assets…Dutch holders considered harmful?!? Yet it might sadly be necessary to minimize your exposure to liquidation contagion.
PS: guess which crucial stock is most held by the Dutch? ASML. So: this unrealized cap gains tax may not literally be a communist plot, but it would have the same effect.
@chamath When will you start entertaining the idea that this is not constant pure stupidity but actually intentional policy that's adversarial to CA/US?
The West is falling victim to one of the most successful foreign psyop operations in history.
Visegrad24's Alexander Shaw explains the curious case of the Maoist millionaire mastermind behind much of it: Neville Roy Singham.
remarkable, genuinely remarkable to see the differential outrage in the West regarding the slaughter of tens of thousands of innocents in Iran versus the war in Gaza. exposes something very evident about the left that they would prefer went unnoticed.
it shows very clearly that western liberals do not reason on consequentialist or "aggregate harm" grounds, or by systematically applying the frameworks they claim to use (if Gaza was bad under our post-war humanitarian frameworks, surely systematic, targeted slaughter of innocents in a non-war context in Iran was worse) but rather based on whether a tragedy is politically exploitable or not. in order words, they filter harms through the lens of whether:
a) it maps to a friend/enemy distinction that is interpretable to them; and
b) it serves their domestic interests here in the US
Gaza was an amazing opportunity for them, because the perceived aggressor was Israel and the Jews, and it gave them air cover for antisemitism and anti-Trump agitation at scale here in the US. meanwhile, Iran does little for them. To the extent liberals have an opinion on Iran, it's either indifference or, if they're a good little revolutionary, sympathy to the regime on post-colonial grounds ("deposed the evil colonialist Shah!"). the slaughter of innocents in Iran, to the American left, is a kind of natural disaster. sad, for sure, but nothing to be done about it. no political points to be scored. a little embarassing if anything, given how Obama coddled and enabled Iran. no domestic enemy to paint as responsible. Gaza, meanwhile, became something being done TO the left IN the USA. as such, it was a perfect storm.
remember always that the valence a tragedy has among the american left has nothing to do with their self-proclaimed principles or any moral rubric applied consistently, and everything to do with whether the conflict can be processed through their own local friend/enemy filter, and whether it can be weaponized for domestic aims. any conservative watching carefully has noticed this already, but it's worth pointing out the obvious for the sake of the moderates.
