@BBCNews@BBCWorld OK, now it is getting really confusing. Please put the small flag of each UK country - England, Scot, Wales & NI and when you talk about COVID restrictions in each country. Ppl mentally tune in and out of the news. And that leads to confusion #BBCnews
without PPE it is a way to spread the virus. The child would likely be infected and you are spreading it another household (the sister/niece). This is how it spreads. Cummings was dangerous
@ImogenCaterer@biscuitsgod@bbclaurak Yes I have 3 girl one 5, let's not talk stupid about PPE it is a family doing what they thought best for their kid
We’ve made it easier to access Universal Credit and other benefits during the coronavirus pandemic.

@cabinetofficeuk The Head of the Civil Service has been asked to investigate Cummings. It is the frustration of one rule for some another for another that leads to tweets like that. You must investigate Cummings for this to be remotely fair and impartial. #CivilService
The Civil Service - who are supposed to be entirely politically neutral - just came out against Boris Johnson.
The tweet gained an astonishing 27.5k retweets in just 10 minutes it was online before being deleted.
These are truly unprecedented times.
@LeeWillock1@biscuitsgod@bbclaurak service stops. Don't you know anything about travelling with a 4 year old child. And he says they took the trip to get childcare from the sister, who presumably didn't have PPE. The whole stated point was to have potential contact with others.
@LeeWillock1@biscuitsgod@bbclaurak You know nothing about me. Nor do you have much regard for someone who sees protecting the public as vital and other methods than travelling 230+ miles to get help. Other families, for instance, cope.
@LeeWillock1@biscuitsgod@bbclaurak The point is that if he was well enough to drive 230+ miles he was well enough to look after his own child - better than keeping the kid in a disease-ridden car. His assumptions about likely course of disease risked others getting it.
@Dawn_M_R @SanjayFBPEUK@EternitysGate25 @LucyNoakes1 @iainjwatson@10DowningStreet How can you be sure the child was heading for care? What was done risk spread of virus. Did the sister have PPE? If the parents had stayed put they may well have been able to alternate childcare responsibilities or get help short of admission to care
@LeeWillock1@biscuitsgod@bbclaurak and nearly everyone leaves their child with a stranger to look after them - call them "teachers".
Child carers are given similar checks. And... there's only a narrow range of circumstances where childcare could be needed.
@LeeWillock1@biscuitsgod@bbclaurak No, there are 2 sets of rules.1) for those who have a suspected coronavirus case in the household.
2) The bit you are quoting is for those who don't have a suspected case. You can tell cos no-one wants someone with possible CV near blood donation services.
