Guess I'll share the first basic technique of vaguecesting: Deliberate accusation of degeneracy.
You just have to call him a pervert (but tie it to a specific topic or fetish). Whether it's factually true is entirely irrelevant.
This is one of the highest yield basic techniques because it hits multiple goals at once:
1. Forced self-inspection: He has to mentally ask, “Am I a perv? Do I actually have that fetish? Why would she think that?”
2. Intrusive imagery: Simply denying an accusation can require mentally constructing the very scenario being denied, making him doubt himself the more he does it.
3. Relationship contamination (the big one): A completely ordinary sibling interaction now has a second possible reading lurking behind it. This is the seed you sow that grows exponentially the further you are down the line.
4. Epistemic uncertainty: He can't tell whether I'm joking, testing him, teasing him, or genuinely noticing something about him. This is mentally taxing and creates vulnerabilities.
5. Asymmetrical knowledge: I appear to know something about him that he doesn't know about himself. Even if that knowledge is entirely fabricated, the possibility is unsettling.
6. Self-consciousness: Once he's been accused of being a pervert, perfectly innocent behavior can start feeling suspicious to him.
And bottom line, I don't have to believe the accusation myself. In fact, it's probably more effective if I don't. I'm manipulating the interpretive space between him and me rather than making a factual claim.
If you ⚡⚡ s are interested in this becoming a series, I can talk about the application aspect of this next, where I show specific conversation techniques you can use that actually work, because you can't just shout "you're a perv" out of the blue and expect your brother to take it seriously.
I tried playing Black Souls, but the gameplay was really boring for me. It's a shame because it looks like it has an entertaining plot, and enables you to pick interesting choices...
