Loving this #unlockingus convo with @BreneBrown and @JasonReynolds83. Your mama is legendary. Inspiring. May we all raise our kids with such love and understanding. Thanks for sharing ❤️
@MarckApps@GrandpaBeck Very cool app! The only problem I found trying it tonight was there’s no way to add bonus points for each mermaid captured with a pirate. Any chance that will be updated? Thx!
First ever #yoga class with @RossRayburn through #peloton app. Final pose led to full on tears followed by uncontrollable laughter for several minutes. I think I’m in. #thebodykeepsthescore
@DaltonGNOLA This situation feels a little too much like Kahwi with the Spurs in the criticism/awkwardness. I hope Zion can swallow his pride and lean in to the leadership from veteran players.
@the1nonlycoop CJ comes from good team culture and has enough veteran clout to steer some criticism away from Zion if needed. There’s still hope, as long as Zion is motivated to make it work.
@AheadFinance@IWantTheDetails@SeenTulip@RossWatkins_ I don’t disagree with the general premise either. Most homeschool parents we know are super invested. My last comment was just meant to agree that there’s always the exception to the rule.
@IWantTheDetails@AheadFinance@SeenTulip@RossWatkins_ So true. We’ve known some of those horror stories. Envision middle schoolers who are functionally illiterate. There are plenty of involved homeschooler parents, and unfortunately others who for whatever reason just don’t want their kids in school but don’t teach them.
@AheadFinance@SeenTulip@RossWatkins_ If your goal is to inspire involved parenting, creating an Us vs. Them situation won’t do it. I’d leave homeschool vs public school out of it. People want to be inspired, not criticized. It’s a great goal though! Glad to see you’re open to thoughtful dialogue.
@AheadFinance@RossWatkins_ It didn’t feel like you were seeking nuanced discussion with your initial tweet. We have happily homeschooled for ten years, but I don’t feel the need criticize anyone who doesn’t. I went to public school and turned out just fine. Every situation is unique.
@what_eats_owls Have to disagree with the logic part of your comment. I find that if I focus my first two or three guesses on using as many letters as possible, it leaves me with few enough remaining letters to let logic be my guide based on the rules of English. NYT is meh though, agreed.
From @BreneBrown: “We feel guilty when we hold up something we've done or failed to do against our values and find they don't match up. It's a psychologically uncomfortable feeling, but one that's helpful.” Guilt is helpful, shame is not. #AtlasoftheHeart#guilt#Shame
