Brilliant discussion about O2 regulation mechanisms in rhizobia at Paul Rutten's viva examination from @PooleLabOxford, together with Juan Imperial. Hypoxia sensing in these N2-fixing bacteria is much more complex than I initially imagined (in my ignorance).
