I’ve been using Robinhood Banking as my main bank account ever since I was invited last November. I love the ui and how smooth the app is and not to mention the beautiful design itself.

Last month, I was unable to hit the ridiculous $1,000 per calendar month direct deposit requirements because I am a student and work part time. The support was unable to make an exception for me to let me keep the APY. I unfortunately have to start the process of transferring my funds out of banking.

Great banking experience and human support is less than a minute away but it’s so unfortunate that the direct deposit requirement is ridiculous for students like me. Sofi’s direct deposit requirements aren’t this ridiculous.

@BuildwithPublic @public I used Public before and somewhat liked the UI and the abundance of information on the app but the subscription cost is too high.

But the biggest problem I had was the UI was broken. When I wanted to deposit or transfer money, the app had issues where nothing was displayed.
