What once was an absurd comedy podcast has now turned pop culture. The hosts consume and discuss movies, music, shows, food, etc. and we still have some games.
On this new episode, the hosts discuss the band Uncle Lucious, their album The Light, and what the hosts thought after listening. At the end the guys play a game where Jason reads music reviews and the guys have to get the band/artist being reviewed. https://t.co/lUdyr6cJQN
On the most recent episode, JJ had us all rewatch Mad Max Fury Road then review and discuss. Later in the episode, we play an apocalyptic version of rock and a hard place. https://t.co/N0eaA9b3Dq
Latest two episodes you will find a two part discussion and review of the incredible Apple TV show Severance. Check out our theories and perspective on these characters and the cult like company Lumon and what might be coming in season 2.
On this episode, we discuss the artistic phenomenon that is the band Sleep Token and their newest album Take Me Back to Eden. We uncode the motivation behind the theme while appreciating the effort and emotion that was poured into the music and lyrics. https://t.co/yN7pG9FrNP
Episode 1, we discuss and review the 2023 movie Spiderman: Across the Spider-verse. More discussions and reviews coming in the next couple episodes then we kick off our full length format on episode 4. https://t.co/LSOhjAszot
Episode 0, Pop Uncultured, is available now. In this preview episode we knock off some recording rust while sampling some new segments and we explain what our new pop culture version of the show will look like….or listen like? Anyway, check it out if you’re curious.
First episode, we will introduce the new show and sample a couple of our new pop culture games. Then expect episodes on these gems of the past couple years. Watch, listen, consume and play along with us. Episodes coming soon!
Same voices, same name, same look, but new podcast. Soon, we will crash the pop culture podcast party. A host picks a movie, show, album, restaurant, game, etc. for everyone else to try good, bad, or otherwise then we discuss. There will also be games and segments along the way.
Due to unforeseen circumstances amongst multiple hosts, this podcast is on hold for now. Thank you to those who have endured this ridiculous podcast project over the last couple years. The hope is that we will bring it back at some point. You can see the optimism on our faces.
Ever heard someone passionately argue for pie being underrated on thanksgiving and yet has never even tried most kind of pies including pumpkin? You have if you listened to our last episode. So most still probably haven’t.
All new Florida episode about Florida people doing Florida things. Meanwhile, Jason forgets how this podcast works. There’s always going to be weaker episodes. It just so happens we have had 58 of them.
So, we put this episode out last week. Why didn’t we mention it? Well, it wasn’t really worth mentioning. If you think the title is dumb. Try listening to the episode.
Barring anymore hardware failures, personal failures, and general disinterest, episode 54 should be released Wednesday. Here are the topics poorly discussed:
Did anybody notice that we didn’t release an episode last week?....Yeah, we didn’t think so. Will anybody care when we finally release a JJ lead episode later this week?..Doubtful.
On Episode 52, JJ gets a blackmailing scam email claiming to know all the naughty things he does on his computer. We go over the whole hilarious email. It’s a long email but a short episode. This episode is definitely worth your time. That is if your time isn’t worth much.
What a bad movie needs the most is a bad podcast doing a bad job of discussing it. We were up to the task on the newest episode available now. Listen as the two hosts who watched Troll 2 try and describe this dialogue disaster to the two who didn’t.
