Thank you for your response, this will be a long read. No vex.
Jesus clearing the temple (John 2:13-16), curs:ing the fig tree (Mark 11:12-14, 20-21), or Old Testament accounts of judgment, show that God’s character includes justice, holiness, and authority, not just love and mercy.
When Jesus drove out the money changers, it wasn’t random anger. The temple was meant to be a place of worship, but it had been turned into a marketplace, exploiting people spiritually and financially. His zeal was for restoring reverence for God (Psalm 69:9). The fig tree incident is often seen as symbolic—Jesus was illustrating Israel’s spiritual barr:enness, not just lashing out at a plant. It points to the expectation of genuine faith producing fruit. It was for our learning not a random act of mad:ness.
The Old Testament stories, like the flood (Genesis 6-8) or the death of Uzzah (2 Samuel 6:6-7) for touching the Ark, can feel scary. But they reflect God’s holiness and the seriousness of sin in a world that was often br:utal and rebellious. Uzzah’s de:ath, for instance, came after clear instructions about handling the Ark (Numbers 4:15), showing that even good intentions don’t override God’s commands.
I didn't stereotype God, I shared a scripture to tell you that you can't claim to be under the influence/leading/direction/control of the Holy Spirit & be flogging & attac:king people like a wild animal. That spirit wouldn't hesitate in atta:cking even a day-old-baby.
The works of the flesh cannot be hidden, it's like a smoke. On a lighter note, this happened to someone I know, a full grown man claim to be in same possession as this little girl & flo:gged another full grown man with a broom, he collected the broom & flogged the demons out of him. His eye cleared instantly.
You’re right that stereotyping God as only loving or only wrathful misses the mark. Scripture shows He’s both perfectly just and perfectly merciful. So, what justice is this girl dishing out to the toddler & what mercy was shown? Or since you're equating her actions to that of God, has she now become God & dishing out judgement to people? If that were to be my child, she'll not allow herself to be used again after I touch her slightly.
@Flowkeei Now we do not want you to be uninformed, believers, about those who are asleep [in death], so that you will not grieve [for them] as the others do who have no hope [beyond this present life].

Stop embarrassing yourself. You're not exhibiting sound judgment.I'm sure you complain about the crop of leaders in Nigeria whereas you're a perfect example of the same mentality they exhibit
It seems you dont know what greed means.Even corruption for that matter
@Omojuwa Who cares whether Peter Obi contests under ADC or A-Z?
Even if he decides to contest as a "free agent", you're still cooked. In fact, PO himself is not the one contesting, Nigerians are just contesting through him.
@SirloinKay@trigottista "...die that talk of separation saying smaller countries bla bla bla"
From this alone, I know the wisdom he was trying to share with you guys but you are not at that level yet and some of you will never get it. Separation ko, separation ni.
@UNOFFICIALFACT@Mickymi72487658 Bro, your era is past because you've been compromised. You tried but couldn't keep up as the people you were up against got the better of you & were able to beak your spirit.
David Hundeyin is not on your level, sit this one out.
@Maya_leeke Ọmọluabi ẹ da Wale?!! You guys no longer fear God.
As a full-blooded and reasonable Yoruba man that I am, I gladly voted Peter Obi in 2023 & by the special grace of God, I'll do the same in 2027 because I'm still in my right senses.

@MrKini3@valueaddedacct@mrboboskie@NigeriaStories The correction was right.
It's supposed to be uttered. To "alter" something means to "change it, so if you put it in context, then it should be "if this statement was uttered".
@alexlobaloba Intelligence is not Òye, as Òye means Understanding. The Làákàyè you're looking for is actually Intelligence.
You've mixed it up, and then you're looking for what is not lost.
