Type 2 diabetes can be understood as a state of carbohydrate intolerance. The body gradually loses its ability to process excessive amounts of carbohydrates without an abnormal rise in blood glucose.
If the body is struggling to handle carbohydrates, reducing the carbohydrate load is not extreme. It is a logical and practical nutritional approach.
Carbohydrate tolerance varies from person to person. The goal is not necessarily zero carbohydrate, but to find the level at which blood glucose and overall metabolic health improve.
Medications can help control blood glucose. However, if excessive carbohydrate intake and reduced carbohydrate tolerance are not addressed, additional medications will become necessary over time.
Reducing dietary carbohydrates is therefore a rational, scientifically supported option for improving blood glucose control in type 2 diabetes.
This post is intended for education and awareness only. Please consult your doctor before making major dietary changes for adjusting medications.

Teen 2 made paneer dum biryani today afternoon.
Right from chopping to the final mixing in the end, she did it on her own.
Not a grain of rice was left in the bowl.🤩

So the "Peptide Party" has been cancelled after Karanataka State Food and Drug Administration officials took note and reached out to the health and science illiterate organizers.
Instead of proving their point and why this party was indeed essential, they just immediately decided to cancel it. If there was any real evidence to the claims they made or for what they were doing, or planned to do, they wouldn't have chickened out.
This just goes to show what a shitshow wellness industry really is because any tom, dick and harry can take a product studied in rats and just run it through a party on magical thinking.
Independent laboratory testing of underground (like this party and similar party) or online-purchased peptides (such as those marketed for weight loss, or muscle growth like BPC-157 and TB-500) shows actual active ingredient concentrations range wildly from 0% (empty vials) to 190% of the labeled claims. This has led to organ injury, including liver failure.

Doctors fear possible contaminated counterfeit peptide batch after seventh case of acute liver damage

When doctors like myself advice people to stay away from rubbish like peptides that endanger public, it is not some conspiracy theory. It means public health advisory. But some of the techbros think these peptides are going to put us out of "business" and cure "aging". If there was a peptide for the 'braindead activity' like the promoters of this peptide party have, I'm all for it.
So stop with this bullshit before you get killed, or kill someone. Focus on building things that you have some expertise on.
Here's @newslaundry report: Five men in five Uttarakhand assembly constituencies filed 6,500 objections to strike voters off the rolls in the ongoing special intensive revision. Every name they targeted is Muslim. Each of the five is linked to the BJP.
In the Kichha assembly constituency of Udham Singh Nagar district, 99% of the deletion requests (4,857 objections were filed, 4,855 of them from just one man: Rajesh Tiwari, whom a report in the Hindustan identifies as a BJP booth level agent.) Every name he targeted was Muslim.

Several social media users, including ISKCON monk Radharaman Das, have FALSELY claimed a communal angle in the sensational murder of four of a Hindu family in Bangladesh's Rangpur. The two accused, who have been arrested, are both Hindus. @onkeyta_

This is a must read piece.
In Germany, public health funds can no longer be used to finance Homeopathy.
Patients remain free to seek them, but will generally have to pay from their pockets.
As Prof. @EdzardErnst rightly mentions: a patient may purchase homeopathic products or consult a homeopathic practitioner, just as one may spend money on many other personally valued but useless services.

Homeopathy is being rejected from its country of origin. In India, the Government is teaching it to younger generations as a career option, a bachelors degree across 5.5 years of training in public funded colleges. And India's Homeopathy Council's are gagging science communicators and public from calling it quackery and it's practitioners quacks.
What a time to live in this country. Fake paneer. Fake milk. Fake ghee. Fake honey. Detergent instead of salt in public school meals. And fake degrees.
