Shocking facts about Modi Govt criminally ignoring railway anti-collision technology:

👉 In 2011-12, Indian Railways under then Railways Minister @MamataOfficial developed the "Train Collision Avoidance System (TCAS)" system

👉 Modi Govt, after coming to power, typically renamed this to #Kavach purely to take credit

👉 There was ZERO PROGRESS on deploying this crucial rail safety technology until 2019 when 3 companies were approved for manufacturing & installing KAVACH on railways

Now here's the facts as they stand today:

👉 Indian Railways has a total route length of 68,043 km

👉 From this entire route, KAVACH/anti-collision system has been installed on ONLY 1,445 km.

That's ONLY 2% of total railway routes

👉 As of date, about 98% of Indian Railways do NOT have any anti-collision devices/systems

While anti-collision systems don't exist on 98% of Indian Railways routes, the Modi Govt is shockingly focused on starting more Vande Bharat high-speed trains most of which are personally inaugurated by PM Modi.

New high speed trains being deployed on a railway network where 98% of it is without anti-collision technology. What could go wrong?

The shocking train crash in Balasore, Odisha, last night could have been prevented by a functioning anti-collision system.

But due to BJP's focus on Modi's Vande Bharat PR & photo-ops instead of safety, over 233 people have died & over 900 are injured in just 1 night.

The blood of 233 Indians is on the hands of BJP, PM Modi, & Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw who have criminally ignored railway safety technology available to them since 2012.

Union Railways Minister @AshwiniVaishnaw MUST RESIGN IMMEDIATELY if he has any conscience or sense of responsibility and shame left in him.
