A girl living in Delhi bought a Tufan fan for ₹2,000 around 5 months ago because an AC or cooler was beyond her budget. 🌬️

She lives in a hostel for her studies, and since her room needed a fan, she decided to go with what she thought was a good-quality option.

But after just 5 months, the fan’s capacitor stopped working, causing the fan to run extremely slowly. 😐

The fan was purchased from her hometown, around 50 km away from where she currently lives. Going all the way there would have cost her nearly ₹500 in travel expenses.

So instead, she got a new capacitor from a nearby shop for ₹50 and paid ₹100 to a mechanic to replace it.

Total repair cost: just ₹150. 💯

Sometimes, a small repair nearby can save you much more money than travelling far just to fix a minor issue. 😄

A boy ordered Veg Biryani online from Zomato because there was an offer of ₹185.

But in the photo there was other things along with biryani but only rice was sent and nothing else.

No, he sent no sweets, no chutney, no raita, then why do you pretend that you will give so many things?

Do the restaurant owners do this or does Zomato defraud people?

My boyfriend ordered a OnePlus Pad 4 for me from Flipkart ❤️

He chose this tablet because it came with a Free Stylo Pro offer from OnePlus_IN. But when it was time to claim the stylus, the steps mentioned in the advertisement simply didn’t work on Flipkart’s UI. 😐

Now I’m left with a non-returnable open-box tablet, but no promised Stylo Pro. And to make things worse, Flipkart and OnePlus_IN are sending me back and forth, with each side blaming the other.

I went to buy a few vegetables and came home with something I didn't expect

The bright red tomatoes and fresh green chillies on the roadside cart caught my eye

I asked bhaiya for the prices and he told me each one without any fuss.

Tomatoes ₹40, cucumber ₹30, chillies ₹60, ridge gourd ₹60, okra ₹50 and potatoes ₹20 a kilo

I took half a kilo each of chillies and ridge gourd, and a kilo of everything else

As he put the vegetables into my bag, I was quietly adding up the total in my head.

Then he smiled and said

“Didi, ₹200 in total.”

I quickly checked the math in my head.

He was right.

Exactly ₹200.

No calculator.
No paper.
Just a simple mental calculation

While handing me the vegetables, he added a little fresh coriander on top.

I smiled and asked

“This too?”

He simply said

“Take it, didi.”

That was it.

Just a tiny moment

But sometimes these little moments are what make a marketplace feel like more than just a place to shop

You don't just come home with vegetables.

Sometimes you come back with an honest calculation, a little extra coriander and a small gesture of kindness from a stranger

Maybe that's why these little roadside carts still feel so much like home
