In recent years, some films have become superhits and crossed ₹1,000 crore despite little buzz and few people actually watching them.

How does this happen? It is usually due to an understanding between those wanting to convert black money into white and the producers. The money launderers are shown on paper as investors or co-producers of the film. Sometimes they themselves can be the producers.

They then launder their black money through corporate bookings of the same film: their companies or shell firms buy tickets in bulk, recorded as legitimate sales, even though many seats remain empty. These payments are shown as business promotion or employee engagement expenses, converting unaccounted cash into documented revenue.

The producer then declares the inflated collection, pays tax, and the money becomes white. When collections are declared, the black marketeer, shown as an investor or producer, legally receives his “share” of the box-office proceeds, now clean, tax-paid money.

It becomes a win–win for everyone: the actors get a “hit,” the producers convert black money into white, and the govt also earns tax revenue as by-product.

Everyone must come together and raise their voice against the E20 petrol mandate. Users deserve a say in such a major policy decision that will affect their hard-earned cars and bikes, despite the heavy taxes they already pay on them.

Requesting Shri @narendramodi to consider creating a Defence Modernisation Fund where citizens can voluntarily contribute.

This fund should be used exclusively for R&D, manufacturing, and procurement of advanced defence technology and equipment. It must remain separate from the official defence budget to ensure it doesn't lead to a reduction in regular allocations.

Provide some tax benefits to donors. Consider tiered recognition (certificates, medals, public acknowledgment) to motivate people, and ensure the fund's expenditure is transparent. People will feel a sense of pride and purpose in contributing, even in a small way, to the nation’s defence.

6/8 we complained to @NCPCR_ 15th Apr, their team came and met principal,went away,didn't meet complainant, kids went inside and seated in ATL lab, they were not in their classes despite requests, parents called 112 got their kids out, listen to their ordeal @dm_ghaziabad
