Some quick dev updates:
1) upgraded Dexscreener banner and image
2) building out folders of all the Premier League players to make sure we have an aligned look across animations
3) creator fee rewards for 1 chosen match per week
4) using marketing budget to amplify our reach on Instagram & YouTube
The most important update here is number 2
It means we will have a branded look across videos & images and will feel utlimately less 'AI'
It also means we'll have all the players ready to make our content a lot faster
APPLE FINALLY ACCEPTED IT WAS NEVER MEANT TO BUILD AI.
Apple confirmed more than 200 layoffs on Friday. About 100 came from the Vision Pro group. The rest came from Siri and the team that wires AI into Apple's devices.
Apple almost never does layoffs. It sat out the 2022-2024 wave that hit the rest of big tech. When Apple cuts, it means a bet died. The last big one came when the car project was canceled in 2024.
Here is what happened to Siri. Apple spent years trying to build the new version in house. The ship date slipped year after year. The executive running it lost the project. Top AI researchers left for Meta.
So Apple stopped building and started renting. In June it shipped the rebuilt Siri running on a custom Gemini model licensed from Google for a reported $1B a year. iOS 27 brings it to everyone next month.
Two months after shipping, the cuts landed on the people who worked on the old Siri stack. Apple says the new architecture requires different expertise. That expertise now sits at Google.
Vision Pro is the same pattern. The gaming team is shut down and in-house immersive video is scaled back. Focus moved to smart glasses that support neither. The next headset is not expected until 2028 (and don't hold your breath that we ever see it).
Every other big tech company is spending tens of billions to build frontier AI. Apple decided to rent it. These 200 jobs are the first look at what renting does to headcount. If it works, in-house AI teams at a lot of other companies face the same math.
The perfect symbol for Base season.
The higher $BASEJUICE goes, the more juice on the market, and the clearer we are in Base mode. $100M is FUD.
A Base culture coin with actual IRL history behind it. A clean, community-run, blue bottle mascot doing its thing.
A true Base fan's dream.
Onboarding new Base fans, one bottle at a time.
Create. Hydrate. Earn.
Craved Base season? Here you go --> 🧃
My $BASEJUICE thesis is pretty simple.
Base is telling us a “big week” is coming.
Then @BasejuiceOnBase replies asking if it’ll be a juicy one.
And Base marketing (@jeremygrinberg) responds:
“imo, juicy”
That’s the kind of interaction I pay attention to.
Now look at the setup.
$BASEJUICE already ran above $2M, corrected back below $1M and is now consolidating with ~$500K daily volume.
The narrative couldn’t be simpler:
If Base enters another period of attention and liquidity, $BASEJUICE is literally positioned as “the juice on Base.”
Simple meme.
Recognizable branding.
Direct interaction with Base.
Sub $1M valuation.
Previous proof it can trade above $2M.
The chart has reset while the narrative is potentially getting stronger.
If Base has a big week, I want exposure to memes that can capture that attention.
$BASEJUICE feels like one of the cleaner bets.
Time to get juicy! 🟦🧃
$BASEJUICE will be listed on Coinbase. There’s no way they don’t do it. With the whole team shilling it. I meannnn…… that’s always been the plan, it was deliberately included in $basecats icon for A REASON.
