రాష్ట్ర ఉపముఖ్యమంత్రివర్యులు శ్రీ పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ గారి కృషితో పిఠాపురం రైల్వే స్టేషన్ సకల సౌకర్యాలతో సర్వాంగ సుందరంగా ముస్తాబు కానుంది. పిఠాపురం స్టేషన్ ను అమృత్ భారత్ స్టేషన్ స్కీమ్ కింద అభివృద్ధి చేయాలని ఆయన చేసిన ప్రతిపాదనలకు కేంద్ర రైల్వే మంత్రిత్వశాఖ ఆమోదం తెలిపింది. రూ. 37.25 కోట్లతో స్టేషన్ లో మౌలిక వసతులు అభివృద్ధి చేయనుంది. గత పిఠాపురం పర్యటనలో శ్రీ పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ గారు క్షేత్ర స్థాయి పరిశీలనకు వెళ్లిన సందర్భంలో రైల్వే స్టేషన్ పరిసర ప్రాంతాలు అశుభ్రత, దుర్గంధం వెదజల్లుతుండడాన్ని చూశారు. రైల్వే స్టేషన్ పరిసరాలను తక్షణం శుభ్రం చేయాలని అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు. జనవరి నెలలో జరిగిన ఢిల్లీ పర్యటనలో కేంద్ర రైల్వే శాఖ మంత్రి శ్రీ అశ్వినీ వైష్ణవ్ గారితో సమావేశం సందర్భంగా పిఠాపురం రైల్వే స్టేషన్ అభివృద్ధి కోసం ప్రత్యేకంగా చర్చించారు. ఆధ్యాత్మికంగా ముఖ్య పట్టణమైన పిఠాపురంలోని రైల్వే స్టేషన్ కి దూర ప్రాంతాల నుంచి యాత్రికులు వస్తారని, వారి సౌకర్యార్ధం అమృత్ భారత్ పథకం కింద అభివృద్ధి చేయాలని కోరారు.
శ్రీ పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ గారి అభ్యర్ధన పట్ల సానుకూలంగా స్పందించిన కేంద్ర రైల్వే మంత్రిత్వశాఖ పిఠాపురం స్టేషన్ ను అమృత్ భారత్ స్టేషన్ గా అభివృద్ధి చేసేందుకు ముందుకు వచ్చింది. స్టేషన్ భవనం, ముఖద్వారంతోపాటు దివ్యాంగుల కోసం ప్రత్యేక సౌకర్యాలతో కూడిన విశ్రాంతిగది నిర్మాణం, అత్యాధునిక టాయిలెట్లు, డ్రైనేజీ వ్యవస్థ, కేబులింగ్, ప్లాట్ ఫారం అభివృద్ధి, షెల్టర్ల నిర్మాణం తదితర అభివృద్ధి పనులు చేపట్టనుంది. ఈ సందర్భంగా అడిగిన వెంటనే పిఠాపురం రైల్వే స్టేషన్ అభివృద్ధికి నిధులు మంజూరు చేసేందుకు సహాయ సహకారాలు అందించిన గౌరవ ప్రధాన మంత్రి శ్రీ @narendramodi గారికి, తక్షణం స్పందించిన రైల్వేమంత్రి శ్రీ @AshwiniVaishnaw గారికి, పిఠాపురం అభివృద్ధికి నిరంతర మద్దతు ఇస్తున్న ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ @ncbn గారికి శ్రీ పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ గారు కృతజ్ఞతలు తెలిపారు.
