This is so interesting because you also hear a lot of parents complain about how much more demanding parenting is now but this is part of why 😭 it’s more demanding partly because you aren’t making your children be independent! No shit you’re burning out
"a generation that keeps pushing adulthood further and further away" irks me so badly because I promise you that more of us would be doing "grown" things like owning a home (or at least living comfortably in a rented space) if they weren't financially out of reach
He cheated on her multiple times during their relationship and she forgave him every time and defended him publicly. She also has helped him raise his two kids from previous relationships and treat them as her own. She supported him throughout his entire career and helped him get healthy again too. Now he’s the one leaving her. Ladies this is why you need to stop forgiving him bum ass men who don’t deserve you. If they cheat, LEAVE. Give an ugly man a chance and he’ll act like he rules the world.

Nothing in my own parenting journey has radicalized me as much as the potty training subreddit. It is absolutely chock-FILLED with posts every day from parents who are like: "help! my kid is four and still not potty trained! i've tried nothing and i'm all out of ideas"
@yashar Also why teenagers have “anxiety”, “panic attacks”, behavioral outbursts. They have never been taught emotional regulation. Never allowed to fail and deal with it. No consequences. Yes it takes time, nerves of steel but it is the job of parents to do these. Well said Jo!
In a new video, Jo Frost, aka Supernanny, warns that some modern parents are hindering their kids’ independence by choosing short-term convenience over teaching basic life skills.
