Did you know you can add a value to a Postgres enum but can't drop one? ALTER TYPE ... ADD VALUE works, but removing a value means recreating the type. For lists that might shrink, a CHECK constraint or lookup table is easier to change. #Postgres

Supabase tip: your anon key is public by design. What protects your data is Row Level Security. Turn RLS on for every table, write policies tied to auth.uid(), then try querying as an unauthenticated user. If anything comes back, you have a leak. #Supabase #WebDev

Free Supabase projects pause after about a week idle. My fix: a scheduled GitHub Action every ~3 days that does one tiny read. Plus a monthly pg_dump + storage export, so my backups never depend on the vendor. #Supabase #DevOps

Made us wait 5 hrs, just to demand an new Case Summary, ICP, & running bill at 10 PM. Hospital submitted it today at 11 AM its 2 PM now.

Trying to log in to Giva #giva.co, but no OTP is being sent and the app says “OTP plan expired.” 😅

So apparently their OTP-sending plan did. And the fact that this is showing directly on production is the real developer horror story. 😂

Having answers instantly available has destroyed the human ability to sit with a hard problem. The exact second a task gets difficult, you ask AI for a solution instead of thinking it through. You are outsourcing your logic and turning your brain into a copy-paste engine.
