Can someone explain to me how there's been no rain on Long Island with articles citing it being the driest September and October in 143 years but https://t.co/ZTu2mpnVd4 just says it's abnormally dry? 143 years and just "huh little weird out there" what does drought even mean?

We need to take down regional sports networks. How come everywhere else in the country can turn on ESPN and watch the islanders, but me, an islanders fan needs a cable plan or a 41 dollar a month streaming app. Basic cable has a local sports fee you pay but no regional sports...

Update, new aircraft, 2 gate changes more delays and several other flights have departed to calgary.

@AirCanada today my fiancée and I planned to fly from laguardia to calgary with a layover in Toronto. 6am-11am. Flight was delayed, rescheduled to another flight, that got delayed. Going on 9 hours of delays. We were offered a 15 dollar meal voucher. A meal here is 25+

@AirCanada @AirCanada your service rep showed no empathy when we explained due to the delays we are missing key parts of our wedding weekend. All she offered was a shrug. Not even a sorry.
