The @theIPCinfo has issued a stark alert: The worst-case scenario of Famine is currently playing out in the Gaza Strip. Latest data indicates that Famine thresholds have been reached for food consumption in most of the Gaza Strip and for acute malnutrition in Gaza City.

Over 20,000 children have been admitted for treatment for acute malnutrition between April and mid-July, with more than 3,000 severely malnourished. Families are suffering.

The food crisis in Gaza is no longer a projection, it is unfolding now. Every hour counts.

A powerful 8.8-magnitude earthquake rocked Russia’s Kamchatka Peninsula, unleashing chaos with tsunami warnings issued across the Pacific. Waves up to 5 meters slammed Severo-Kurilsk, flooding homes and infrastructure. Japan, Hawaii, and other coastal regions evacuated thousands as a precaution. No fatalities reported yet, but damaged buildings, disrupted power, and ongoing aftershocks are rattling nerves. Scientists warn of potential further tremors. The region’s remote location and harsh weather are complicating relief efforts. We are closely monitoring any humanitarian impact and are ready to respond as necessary.
