The year 25, is the year of Grace upon Grace.
“And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace. For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ”. John 1:16-17
Pep Guardiola looking ahead to his post-football life: "I will miss not going to Camp Nou, I'll miss Bayern Munich - hopefully we can go through and go there - and I will miss that, when I stop and retire. I will miss these nights because they are so special.
"I'll miss Selhurst Park as well, I love it. Premier League, these stadiums. #UCL I will miss, but Fulham, Crystal Palace, Goodison Park - these stadiums are one of the reasons I adore England, I adore the Premier League, for these kind of- FA Cup! Against League One [teams]... I like a lot!
"But one day it will be over, right?" [via @footballontnt]
Unpopular opinion: Jonah didnt survive three days in the belly of the great fish—
it wasnt a refuge; it was a tomb.
Most people picture Jonah chilling in the belly of the great fish for three days perhaps humming a psalm or two. Thats not what the text describes.
Read Jonahs own prayer from inside the fish:
“I called out to the Lord, out of my distress…
From the belly of Sheol I cried and you heard my voice…
The waters closed in over me to the point of death;
the flood surrounded me; seaweed was wrapped around my head;
I went down to the roots of the mountains;
the earth with its bars closed upon me forever…
yet You brought up my life from the pit, O Lord my God.” (Jonah 2:2–6)
He prays from Sheol—the Old Testament place of the dead. He says the waters took him “to the point of death.”
Seaweed wrapped around his head and the earth barred him in forever.
Thats not a guy whos just uncomfortable. Thats a man describing his own death.
So yes—Jonah died in the belly of the fish.
The miracle wasnt that he survived for three days.
The miracle was that God raised him from the dead when the fish vomited him onto dry land.
And thats exactly the sign Jesus pointed to:
“But He answered and said to them, “An evil and adulterous generation craves a sign; and so no sign will be given to it except the SIGN OF JONAH the prophet; For just as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.” (Matthew 12:39-40)
Jesus didn’t say “as Jonah lived in the fish…”
He pointed to Jonahs death and resurrection as a sign of His own.
Jonah died. God raised him.
Jesus died. God raised Him.
Thats the parallel—not a three day aquarium stay.
The sign of Jonah isnt survival.
It’s resurrection.🙏

There’s a scene in Breaking Bad where Walter White’s wife realizes he’s made $7.5 million and says:
“There’s no way we can wash this money through a car wash. No car wash in the world makes that kind of money in a year.”
That line hit me. Because it exposes a truth most people ignore: How much you earn is capped by the kind of business you run.
You can work harder, stay longer, even get smarter - but you’ll never make more than what your business model is designed to carry.
If you hold a gun and I hold a gun,
we can talk about the law—
because power is balanced,
and justice has room to breathe.
If you hold a knife and I hold a knife,
we can talk about rules—
because fear is shared,
and respect becomes necessary.
If you come empty-handed and I come empty-handed,
we can talk about reason—
because dialogue works
when no one feels cornered.
But if you have a gun and I only have a knife,
then truth no longer lives in words.
It lives in your hands,
and mercy becomes a choice, not a principle.
And if you have a gun while I have nothing,
what you hold is no longer just a weapon.
It is my voice.
My rights.
My future.
My life.
This is why history is never written by the peaceful alone,
but by those who understood that power respects power.
This is why people who disarm themselves in the face of aggression
are told later to “be patient” while everything they own is taken.
History has shown this one lesson again and again:
Peace without balance is fragile,
Justice without strength is powerless,
and dialogue without security is Meaningless.
A people that cannot defend their existence
will always be told to be patient
while others decide their fate.
A people who refuse to be erased
must first refuse to be defenseless.

In 2014, André Schurrle won the World Cup with Germany scoring 3 goals, and assisting the winning goal in the final 🇩🇪
Just 9 years later, he had retired from football at 29 years-old. Since then he found a new direction in his life; the Wim Hof Method, one of the most difficult endurance challenges in the world.
He climbed up the Sniezka Mountains, the highest point in the Czech Republic (1630m above sea level), with no T-shirt and just shorts on.
🗣️ Schürrle: "The last minutes I couldn't feel anything and I had to find something deep inside me to keep going. An experience I will never forget! -19 degrees, 100 km/h wind in our faces, heavy snow and rain. What I learned... my body and I are stronger than I thought if I put my mind and soul into it I can do it all."

🚨 Jermaine Defoe:
“How did City get Reijnders in silence? Moves like a winger, dictates like a 10, covers ground like a true box-to-box. To land that profile without a fight is daylight robbery. And the rest of Europe just watched it happen.”
