totally agree! But we should still always try and pick the right ones in order to foster a friendly environment where everybody is comfortable! This is one word that specifically gets to me... let's try and change it!
Although it is a complicated topic, I adore the quote on @valor4us 's post! 10/10 would rather be excluded for who I include, that included for who I exclude! We should teach our children and practice this every day. Making fun of people at a disadvantage is not. cool. 🧐
This reminds me of that quote I shared earlier that said "I would change the world for you", and also the 14c debate where people often argue that without it, there will be no jobs for people with disabilities. We are the only ones with the POWER to change our world!
Model Paola Antonini is a true example of positivity! She says: "Since I lost my leg, my self esteem got better." The influencer is the epitome of overcoming hardships and making the best out of the situation you're in. PRAISE GIIIIRL😍😍😍😍
I looove this, but especially the last part for #internationalwheelchairday this past March 1st! Like Cat says, "The only negativity around w/chairs is the negative stigma from others". Let us NOT be part of that stigma👏🙌💪
Happy #InternationalWheelchairDay!
A few things I want to say today:
1) no one is “wheelchair bound”, many w/chair users would be bed or housebound without their chair
2) #AmbulatoryWheelchairUsersExist
3) The only negativity around w/chairs is the negative stigma from others
Great use of #disabledpeoplearehot with this one!! Natasha speaks out to not only the difficulties of being hired as somebody with a disability, but the lack of diverisity in the acting industry! You should be tired. You go giiiiirl!
#DisabledPeopleAreHot
I’m a professional actress with autism - I get looked over for parts that are written for attractive women because of my disability and I’m a bit tired of it
Although I prefer the term "people with disabilities" as opposed to "disabled people" because clearly, the "person" should come before the "ability", I am super glad we're finally getting some recognition! It was time to have our own hashtag, even if fit is #DisabledPeopleAreHot
So excited to get a new pair of #johnscrazysocks for the coming #WorldDownSyndromeDay! I encourage all of you to get a pair yourself! Not only does a big part of the proceeds go to charity, but they are crazy cute (and support inclusive businesses)!!
#WorldDownSyndromeDay is 3/21. You can rock our socks in different ways to show your support on this special day. We have a collection of Down Syndrome Socks designed by John, himself, as well as Mismatched Down Syndrome Awareness Socks and Johnism Socks. https://t.co/XiZOJ51OHK

hey guys! Please check this video out! It's about #equalpay for people with disabilities... Tell me what you think about 14C and how our policies can be reformulated in a way that will benefit ALLof us! #inclusion#love
