I don’t agree with your take. They don’t need to nuke charts with their zero blocks. IMO if a coin is good, a dev deserves a payday from it, if it’s bad/redeployed/unimaginative/spelled retardedly/lifeless/not on trend, they deserve nothing. If it’s a 10k topper, go down with your ship. All this dev selling quickly to give “confidence” to the buyers is dumb af. All that does is ensure a payday for a dev that deploys slop shitters all day everyday. I’m assuming you’re thinking about coins that run to multi Ms with this post, but this post doesn’t think about how the market naturally moves towards quality or how devving is over saturated.

Not a smart take. Some truth to the fee extraction, but we're currently going through 'launch pad meta' atm. Anyone can vibe-code a memecoin launchpad in seconds, the coins of which are then visible to anyone with a scope viewer, aka a trading platform. So for memecoins to return to fewer deploys that send higher in the way your perspective suggests is to shut down EVERY launchpad. Domestically impossible especially in the nea term with uncontrolled vibe coding being so potent and mainstream, let along offshore launchpads. If pump and bonk and etc etc are all shut down, then it goes underground and you cant police it. Eg, a 16year old could get Opus5.5 or Fable to make a launchpad and launch any number of coins within the hour. The knowledge of the space and the ability to do just that means its never changing.

Now on the 'its gambling' point. Not at all. And dont be stupid. Its a space dominated by 19year olds. Cats, dumb memes, wholesome stories, cool new vibe-coded tech and petty argument between world leaders is what sends. None of that spends much time on the minds of adults who understand how difficult life is, and are grinding for their families. So is it mostly unappreciable by the previous generation? Yup. And does it look like complete random chance that something sends? Yup. But there is logic to it and there is the ability to develop and understanding, skill up and INVEST into the status quo of internet trends. Of course, if youre just throwing Solana into the wind with no idea how it works then yes, you, are gambling. But it's the same as the stock market, if you dont know what youre doing, youre just spraying and praying. Do you consider the stock market a gambling arena?

Memecoins are much more difficult now. The space is polluted with everyone and their cat trying to find a dirty corner in which to make some money, but in no way is it gambling, unless you choose to treat it as such.

5months in and this is more of a psychological hack: i worry about joining the liq ball to profit, rather than worrying about losing money. I feel that pit of losing when sitting there just before entry. My mind seems to sharpen up and assess things more honestly

And it seems to help release the fear of losing.
