In November (Pre- lockdown 2) we began work on ‘The Cathar’ Promo Part 1, written and directed by @liamxheath , with Louis Spanswick O'Brien as Director of Photography and me as Producer.
The Archers have created their own Ashes (a cricket match btwn the villages of Ambridge & Darrington, as u ask) from a burnt teacake. I wonder if the men who took such umbrage at there being a women's Ashes just as there is a men's Ashes will cry cultural appropriation here too.
So he’s effectively saying “racism won’t be an issue if you get a life coach & focus on yo yo tests” 🤷🏽♂️ Ladies & Gents….Welcome to the world of @MontyPanesar https://t.co/DYtGqu03wA
I’m delighted and proud to be part of this little film with a big heart and even bigger ambition, made with enormous perseverance by its young director @liamxheath and crew on a limited budget and during a time of unprecedented difficulty. “Chapeau!” to all concerned.
Very in vogue to be hearing from Olympic medal-winning athletes' parents, which is fair enough & some extraordinary tales.
But I'd v much like to hear from those parents & families who've sacrificed just as much but whose kids haven't 'made it'. That, imo, is the bigger story.
Congratulations to those who have made this week's honours board 👏
Including a magnificent 83* from Hannah at @NLCC_Women and an impressive 4-8 from Kate at @HSMLCC
Another win for the 1st XI vs Ealing CC yesterday at home. NLCC scored 214-4 in 40 overs and Ealing were bowled out for 70.
Congrats to Hannah and India on their 83 and 77* respectively, and to Naomi for finishing with figures of 3-12
Special thanks to @Northmidd for hosting!
