This is Sandra Lavie.
A luxury job, a beautiful apartment, a good salary and world travel. She had everything many people dream of.
But she left Switzerland and Dubai with just 2 shirts, 2 trousers and a one way ticket to India.
She reached a remote village and started a free school for children who had no access to quality education.
People questioned her decision in the beginning.
Some even believed she would go back.
Instead, she stayed and kept building. Today, she says she finally found the purpose she had been searching for all along.
Her story is about choosing meaning over comfort. In a time when many people leave villages to build a better future, she left a comfortable life abroad to help children in an Indian village build theirs.
That is a rare choice.
Real success is not always measured by salary or lifestyle. Sometimes it is measured by the number of lives you change.
Received this on one of my Arattai Groups Today. Heart Touching.

Last week, on my flight from Delhi to Pune, I experienced a moment I’ll carry with me for the rest of my life.
I had just settled into my window seat when a little boy, no older than seven, stopped beside me, holding his father’s hand.
“Uncle… if it’s okay, can I please sit by the window?”
Before I could answer, his father immediately said, “I’m so sorry, sir. Please don’t feel obliged. He’s been asking since we entered the airport. It’s completely alright if you’d like to keep your seat.”
I smiled.
“It’s yours, champ.”
His face lit up instantly.
He rushed to the window, pressed his little hands against the glass for a few moments, smiled… and then, just a few minutes after take-off, rested his head on his father’s shoulder and quietly fell asleep.
He slept through almost the entire flight.
About twenty minutes before landing, his father looked at me and smiled.
“I guess he didn’t make much use of your window seat.”
“That’s alright,” I replied. “He must have been exhausted.”
There was a brief silence.
“He is,” his father said softly.
“We’ve spent the last eight months in Delhi. He’s been undergoing treatment for severe aplastic anemia at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre. There were days we didn’t know if we’d ever make this journey home. Today is the first day the doctors felt he was well enough to travel.”
I looked at the little boy again.
Only a few minutes earlier, I had seen a child asking for a window seat.
Now I saw a little warrior who had spent months fighting for something infinitely more precious than a view above the clouds.
His father then asked me,
“Do you know why he wanted the window seat so badly?”
I shook my head.
“He told me, ‘Papa, when we’re above the clouds, I’ll be a little closer to God… and I can say thank you for making me better.’”
I didn’t know what to say.
I simply looked away and quietly wiped a tear from my eyes.
As we walked towards the terminal, his father turned around, smiled and said,
“Thank you. You made his day.”
The truth is
He had made mine.
That flight reminded me that we meet people for only a few moments, while they may have been carrying burdens for months or even years.
The impatient customer.
The distracted colleague.
The exhausted parent.
The quiet child asking for a window seat.
We see behaviour.
We rarely see the battle behind it.
Perhaps empathy doesn’t begin with grand gestures.
Perhaps it begins with choosing compassion before judgment.
✅ Everyone you meet is carrying a story you cannot see.
✅ A small act of kindness can become someone else’s lifelong memory.
✅ Sometimes the most beautiful view isn’t from the window seat. It’s the perspective that changes your heart.
Last week, I gave away my window seat.
What I received in return was a lesson I’ll never forget.

Read News

Well here is a small real life incident that happened between JRD Tata and his friend..!!
Mr. JRD Tata had a friend who used to say that he misplaces his pen a lot. He would use only cheap pens so that he would not worry about losing them. He was very worried about his carelessness.
JRD suggested him to buy the costliest pen he could afford and see what happen. He agreed to his friend and bought himself a 22 carat Golden Pen.
After 6 months JRD met him again and asked him about his habit of misplacing pen. To which his friend replied that ever since he met him last time he has been very careful with his golden pen and never lost it too. He was surprised to see how he changed!
Thus with the help of a pen JRD Tata explained him the value of things.
This is what happens in your daily life.If we value our health, we will be careful what and how we eat.
If we value our friends, we will treat them with respect.
If we value our time, we will not waste it.

I haven’t been able to stop thinking about her.
Thirteen years old. A child. Brutalised by 32 men. She fought for her life… and today, she lost that battle.
How do you even process this? What kind of monsters do this? What kind of society allows it to happen?
These men deserve nothing less than capital punishment. Crimes of this brutality against a child demand the strongest punishment our justice system provides.
She should have been worrying about school, friends, and dreams—not fighting for her life.
I’m angry. I’m heartbroken. And I’m ashamed that we keep failing our daughters.

Read News
@sathyashrii No it’s time to change…
Even company ceo changes after certain years…
I m not saying bjp should loose
But new face should come with new vision
The new security guard refused to let the CEO into his own building.
Everyone thought he’d be fired before lunch.
It was 6:40 AM.
The lobby was almost empty.
The guard looked up and said, “Good morning, sir. Badge?”
The man smiled.
“I don’t carry one this early.”
“I’m sorry. No badge, no entry.”
The man laughed.
“I own this company.”
The guard didn’t even blink.
“I’ve heard that one before.”
A few employees walking in froze.
One whispered, “That’s literally him.”
The guard shrugged.
“I still need ID.”
The man reached for his pocket.
Nothing.
He had left his wallet at home.
“I can have someone confirm.”
The guard shook his head.
“They can confirm after you’re inside. My job is stopping people before that.”
Now a crowd was watching.
Someone quietly pulled out a phone.
An executive came rushing down from the elevator.
“Oh my God. Sir, come in.”
The guard stepped sideways.
“Does he have authorization?”
What I like about Annamalai is his authenticity.
When the unfortunate Karur tragedy happened, Annamalai said Vijay should not be blamed and clearly explained why. At that time, Annamalai was still in the BJP, which Vijay had strongly labelled as an ideological opponent.
Annamalai too feels that the current government’s initiatives against corruption are genuine and that we need to support them.
The ADMK is imploding. It will be interesting to see how the DMK reorients itself to meet the expectations of today’s Gen Z.
Annamalai would make for a healthy critic and constructive opposition in the state.
A laborer working on a site near a hospital in Pune came to the hospital with his pregnant wife in an emergency. Dr. Ganesh Khairi examined the woman and said, "I have to perform a cesarean section immediately to save the mother and child." For a moment, the laborer thought he would be stuck with a huge expense, but with no other option, he allowed the doctor to perform the operation.
The operation was successful, and a daughter was born. The laborer's biggest question was how to pay the bill. When the laborer met Dr. Ganesh and asked how much the bill would be, Dr. Ganesh smiled and said, "I don't charge for the birth of a daughter." The laborer was astonished.
The doctor clarified, "Every daughter is an incarnation of Lakshmi. How can money be taken during Lakshmi's incarnation?" When I was studying, my mother told me that when God sends a daughter into this world, to help her and her family in every possible way. Obeying my mother's orders, I don't take any money at the time of my daughter's birth."
The laborer immediately fell at Dr. Ganesh's feet and said, "You are truly a manifestation of God." It's been a decade since Dr. Ganesh opened his hospital. In ten years, nearly 1,000 daughters have been born at his hospital, and not a single penny has been charged to the parents of any daughter.
life humbled me again today
i usually take the metro to work but this morning i was running late so i booked a rapido
the rider reached in 2 minutes
i was not able to find my room keys so it took me another 5 minutes to get downstairs. in those 5 minutes he called me 3 times asking me to come quickly
when i finally got on the bike i asked him
"bhai itni jaldi kis baat ki thi?"
he smiled and said,
"office ke liye late ho raha hoon bhaiya"
i was confused so i asked,
"if you already have a job then why are you driving rapido?"
then he started telling me that he earns ₹20k a month from his job
he has a wife, three kids and one of them has had a disability since birth. the child's medicines and treatment alone cost around ₹10k every month
i asked him how he manages
he said he drives rapido from around 6 to 9 in the morning
works his office job from 10 to 6:30
then gets back on the bike and drives again until 10 or 11 at night
i asked him how much he sleeps
he laughed and said,
"pichhle 8 mahino se 5 ghante se zyada nahi soya"
then he said something i will probably never forget
"ab bhagwan ki yeh marzi hai toh yahi sahi"
he said it with a smile
and here i am complaining about deadlines, traffic and small inconveniences
and there are people carrying burdens i can't even imagine... and that too without losing their kindness
today reminded me how privileged i really am.

A Must Read ,
The Arabian Sea. About 220 kilometers off the coast of Mumbai. 30 August 2010. 6:55 a.m.
A massive wave suddenly crashed over the Indian Navy submarine INS Shankush. In an instant, three sailors were thrown into the raging sea, drifting farther away with every passing second.
Standing watch was Lieutenant Commander Firdaus Mogal, the submarine’s Executive Officer. He didn’t wait. After reporting the incident over the radio, he simply said, “There’s no time. I’m going after them.” Then he plunged into the turbulent waters.
His first act was to rescue an injured sailor hanging alongside the submarine, hauling him to safety. Without hesitation, he then swam with two combat divers toward the three men being carried away by the waves.
One by one, he ensured that everyone else had a chance to survive.
Finally, the rescue rope reached them. Firdaus could have climbed aboard first. Instead, seeing that the two divers were exhausted and drifting away, he made an extraordinary decision. Using his own body as a bridge, he shouted through the crashing waves:
“Climb over me! Get to the submarine!”
The two divers obeyed, stepping over his shoulders to reach safety.
Everyone made it back.
Except him.
Just as Firdaus began pulling himself aboard, the violent swell rolled the 1,800-ton submarine into him, striking his head with devastating force. He was airlifted to a naval hospital, but the injury proved fatal.
That morning, Lieutenant Commander Firdaus Mogal saved the lives of six sailors.
He lost his own.
He was posthumously awarded the Shaurya Chakra, but perhaps his greatest legacy was not a medal. As his wife, Kerzin, later said, “If someone else had died and Firdaus had survived, he would never have forgiven himself.”
Many people wear the rank of a leader.
Very few choose to be the last one to reach safety.

Maturity is in realizing that you don’t have to correct every mistake, answer every criticism, or win every argument. Sometimes, the wisest response is to just move on.
Hakim: ′′ Yardım isteyecek yeriniz ,kimseniz yok muydu? ′′
