It's good to be lazy and slow
This makes you shine & glow
There is more chance to crash
If you are fast and in full flow
That girl with eyes like a doe
You too tried to woo her, I know
She ditched me too, so we bond
Haven't we suffered similar pain bro?
Learnt lesson, now it's time to grow
Try elsewhere, no need to crib, stop being a crow
There is any reason to run or go wild?
Saunter, observe, enjoy the high & low

'The Bhopal Sentiment'. This sentiment is that when others run, lets walk. And when others walk, sit beside the commotion and watch them go.
NOTE: Ghazal is a genre of Urdu poetry, written in a format. People often write ghazals in English too.

Much before Mahatma Gandhi and other top leaders appeared on the scene, these were the revolutionaries who dared to take on the Empire and were absolutely fearless.
His political activity started much before First World War. However, all this was ignored.
1. What has happened in Bhopal is a group of people disgracing themselves and the society. This decision to change the name of the Barkatullah University, doesn't one bit affect the prestige of the freedom fighter. Now, he is all set to be recalled more and restored to the high pedestal that he deserves.
2. The fact that the education system, institutions have reached a level that an revolutionary of his calibre who fought for independence and had British intelligence trailing him all through his life, who talked about freedom when most leaders were content with demand for dominion status and who created international alliances, created huge awareness in the entire world about the oppression by imperial forces in an era when there was hardly any free big media, and even died while giving a passionate speech about India's freedom. can't be belittled.
3. In fact, it is now the time to know about his life. The man who didn't marry, who died in exile and whose sole mission was to fight for freedom. In his own words, 'I am neither socialist, nor communist, my sole aim is expulsion of imperial forces and to this aim, I support alliance with powers that help us in attaining independence'.
4. The people who have brought shame and have disgraced the region with their petty mindset, are insignificant. But a society that doesn't even respect the great personalities who made such sacrifices for the nation, definitely deserves to introspect.
5. The shameless, decay and degradation of the institutions is exceptional. I am not sure if CM Dr Mohan Yadav has yet taken due cognisance but even Kushabhau Thakre and other past heavyweights of the same party recalled Barkatullah's contriution and would never have led it happen.

Pay: DEATH, Reward: MARTYRDOM, Pension: LIBERTY
Field of battle: British India
This was the call given by the Ghadar Party, the band of revolutionaries, for the cause of India’s freedom.
Barkatullah, who was born in Bhopal, was among those revolutionaries who dedicated their entire lives for the country.
The fiery leader of Ghadar Party had made the cause of India’s independence as his motto from the beginning.
This was the era when political leaders were not even demanding complete freedom. The ill treatment with Indians and the discrimination, apart from harsh laws, had made lives difficult for the Indian citizens.
Even though major political leaders were reluctant to speak for freedom, and were content with a space for dissent and demand for dominion status, Barkatullah and the revolutionaries were planning to overthrow the British government and establish self rule.
A companion of Lala Hardayal, another leading revolutionary, Barkatullah Bhopali felt that India needed to drive imperialistic forces out, and hence the revolutionaries must seek help from other nations.
Apart from organizing revolutionaries in US, Japan, Afghanistan, he met leaders of Russian revolution.
Barkatullah Bhopali visited dozens of countries where roused passions among Indians to join hands for the cause of Indian independence. The scholar whose figure, wearing a red Turkish cap, has inspired generations, had made it a mission to liberate motherland from the British rule.
When the revolutionaries were able to form the Government of India in Exile, Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh was made the President while Barkatullah Bhopali was the Prime Minister of this government. The aim of revolutionaries was to launch an attack against British and free the country from the foreign rule.
It caused alarm among the British who used their global power and influence to tackle the revolutionaries. The prevailing international politics, the post-WW I scenario and world powers' change of attitude, affected the plans. However, the revolutionary leaders were not the ones to sit down.
From America to Japan and United Kingdom to Germany, Barkatullah visited countries that supported Indian citizens' right to self-govern, trying to seek help to form grand alliance agains the British imperialists. Throughout his life, he was followed by British intelligence.
It was the role of Gadar Party and its leaders that lit the fire of freedom in hearts of Indians living across the world, and from USA to Malaya, the revolutionaries came forward, and later this network proved immensely helpful and advantageous when Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose formed the Indian National Army.
Barkatullah was born on July 7, 1854. He had a cardiac arrest while delivering a passionate speech, urging the Indian expatriates to join hands for the country's freedom, during his visit to USA and passed away in 1927.
He is buried in San Francisco. Barkatullah didn’t live to see India attain freedom, but it was the efforts of these revolutionaries that gave impetus to Indian freedom struggle within and outside the country.
Still, writing and tagging.

India is the most populated nation in the world and has a large economy, but it still ranks low as far as HDI is concerned.
The human development index ranking takes into account the standard of living, apart from factors like health and education. This is a cause of concern.

Shameful to erase memory of the great revolutionary freedom fighter by proposing to change name of Barkatullah University.
Who'd have thought that certain people would even think about ignoring sacrifices of the freedom fighters.

Not just food quality but irritation due to over-charging & bad behaviour that spoils mood in journey, made me decide long ago that I'd carry food from home, boarding station, paratha or puri with sabzi, a few dry things, cookies or cake when going on long journey. No buying inside train.
At least in India, there is a feeling that a certain project is enforced and @Facebook doesn't seem to pay any attention to hate on its platform.
It must be investigated what is compelling this organization to create such a situation. It's high time that propaganda, hate and falsehood are not propagated and posts that call for violence and that spread divide in society are stopped.
In India, @Meta doesn't stop or remove the worst and most inflammatory, divisive, false, hate filled posts.
Most of the posts that are incendiary and spread a wave of communal hate apart from creating divide among communities, are not taken down despite 'reports'.

ot just hate but open threat and call for violence, such cleverly written posts that turn communities against each other and spread propaganda, are given more 'reach'.
It is clearly visible. In India, either threat or abuse, Facebook has standard reply, 'We understand it may be inconvenient for you, but we haven't removed the post'.
The rules are not applied. An international audit is necessary because it is a threat to global peace, especially, harmony and society in South Asia.

@Rudhrayadav001 In childhood, teachers would often tell certain kids, that 'kya dimagh mein bhoosa bhara hai?'. Do you have a functioning mind or it's this thing stuffed in your brain.
The reason is that from an early age, bullying or flouting rules is considered 'cool' or a sign of strength. Parents also let boys misbehave and mistreat.
Civic sense is about obedience that is seen as sign of weakness. Many want kids to become arrogant louts who can dominate.
So often men and women take pride when their kid doesn't listen to others or misbehaves or gives a harsh answer. They say it with pride, 'ye nahi sunta kisi ki', 'apni marzi se karta hai'.
Besides, breaking rules is not considered an act of shame. People break rules and feel that it is being 'bold' and street smart.
Bulldozers entered Garib Nagar, Bandra at dawn on May 19.
500 homes. Two decade-old mosques. 5,200 sq metres of land worth ₹600 crore. A five-day drive.
Court-backed. Railway-led. Government-celebrated.
But ask one question — why here, why now, why these structures — and the demolition logic begins to collapse.

@Panks_Arora There is also a social pressure to 'go out' and to particular places due to social media pictures of friends.
One must go but at own pace, own choice & depending on one's liking. Otherwise, staying at home & exploring own city, region, lesser known places is also a good choice.
How heartless can 'authorities' be? In this extreme heat, bulldozer sent, shanties razed and women, children picking their remaining goods, made homeless under scorching sun in Gurgaon sector 53.
This is inhuman and shameful. Who are these 'authorities' that conduct such operations?
Poor people are humans too and such action? They work to keep cities function, the women who assist in running households.
Don't be so cruel. Be humane and at least don't take such action in this harsh weather.
Ya. Heat can be unbearable & fan can't do much. Those who live in rooms or flats on top floors or even in houses directly facing sun, not covered by any other building or structure's shadow, intensity can be very high.
A guy lived in rented room on top that had shed & he tossed & turned for hours due to extreme heat in the room. He told me that he lived in that room because he had to save money to send it back home to family.
