"There's a deal on Hormuz, there will be a deal on denuclearization," and that Iran negotiations will begin Monday afternoon.

Markets surged on the headlines, with S&P 500 futures +0.5%, Nasdaq 100 +0.8%, Dow +0.4%, while WTI crude fell -5.2% and Brent dropped -4.8% on hopes of easing Middle East tensions.

However, Iran continues to reject negotiations with the U.S. and has reportedly launched anti-ship cruise missiles toward a vessel, casting fresh doubt over Trump's claims.
