H-1B and other work visas were exploited for years with loopholes, fake bank statements, fake resumes, and proxy interviews displacing American workers.
Those involved, from project managers and HR to recruiters, middlemen, hiring managers, and leaders who knew, should repay the money, face penalties, be permanently recorded, and have assets recovered. This should go back at least a decade.

Victims should be encouraged to pursue legal action, but one lawsuit may not cover every claim. FCA fraud, FLSA wage violations, wage theft, H-1B and other visa fraud may require different legal paths and venues.

Qui tam lawyers can help with eligible FCA claims. Reform is needed because funding multiple lawsuits is a huge burden for complainants without deep pockets
