UPDATE ON DOG KICKER

Last year in Pittsburg, CA, Lagashia Williams ordered her daughter Graciela Amar to kick a 2.8 lb. senior Chihuahua named Gigi during a neighbor dispute. Amar launched the tiny dog through the air, causing severe liver and leg injuries.

Williams then filed a false police report. Both had their felonies downgraded to misdemeanors.

Amar got suspended probation and 100 hours community service. In May 2026 Williams pleaded no contest to misdemeanor animal cruelty and received 1 year probation plus 120 hours.

Both must serve those hours at an animal shelter.

Would you want either of these women around animals at a shelter? The judge let them off easy and then sentenced the animals at the shelter.
